QUOTE(The Critic @ Feb 27, 2006 -> 03:37 AM) There's nothing "rock" about this finale. so, my vote goes to neither. Hey, you had your chance to nominate songs, now BACK THE f*** UP. Couldn't resist.

Every five years or so I rediscover Van Morrison. I wouldn't say radio has over played his music, but too bad a LOT of his songs are the soundtrack to a LOT of chick flick, romantic comedies. His music is kind of a guilty pleasure for me.

QUOTE(quickman @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 08:46 PM) whats the over under he does the mom in chicago? This is the same guy that said his first contract pays for his first divorce. I can see he is on his way.The dude smokes alot of dope. wow no green? Pretty big predictions there.

As a Local H fan, I can't dislike these guys. Very AC/DC, with just enough 70's cheese on top.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 07:57 PM) According to Kenny. I know Frank had some business failures and got divorced, but borrowing loot from your boss is desperate, not to mention awkward. Especially when you consider that Frank hasn't always been happy with his contract. "No, Frank we won't renegotiate that contract, but I'll lend you a few bucks." Having to ask JR for cash is actually kinda sad....if true of course.

QUOTE(bmags @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 07:52 PM) i disagree, royal tennenbaums, life aquatic, rushmore, groundhog day all crack me up to no end. Royal Tennenbaums didn't even make me grin. Some of his early stuff was funny, but not the stuff you mentioned.^

QUOTE(Spiff @ Feb 26, 2006 -> 05:57 PM) Saw it, I think I've ranted on how s***ty is like five times. He just mopes around, it's not funny. Wait, 'Broken Flowers' is a comedy???????

JR loaned money to Frank???

If you want cheap AND good, pick up a frozen Home Run Inn pizza. Thawing it is the key. Put it in the fridge for a day, then leave it out for 3 hours before baking. MMMMMM. You can get 2 larges for like $10.00 at Jewel.

First of all I'm not a fan of Bill Murray, why is he funny? Delivering lines with that lifeless slouched body, droopy face and monotone has never been funny to me. It must be me. Guess what? That's exactly how he plays serious roles too. I finally saw 'Broken Flowers', good film except it felt incomplete. Anyone else seen it??

Uribe consistently showing discipline at the plate in the 2 slot will be an interesting challenge. I'm cautiously optimistic. Who knows, maybe it is better to take the bat out of his hands.

I'm with ya KG. I'm not broke and I know good pizza. At Pizza Hut I can get a hand tossed, medium with two ingredients that feeds 3 people for like $13.00 including delivery and tip. That ain't bad. By the way, Falco's on Archer is the best for thin crust and certain Giordano's locations still make the best deep dish. Screw Lou Malnatti and Uno.

Frank fires on the Sox - again

Interesting. Was it just a week ago that KW was babbling about how Ozzie needs to learn 'no comment'? -

When has Frank made any sense? I don't expect athletes to be rocket scientiists, but reading and listening to Frank's quotes throughout the years has proven he is not very bright at all. Well, since Ozzie doesn't shy away from taking the second punch, we might get some gems out of his mouth soon. -
Brian Lawrence suffers torn right labrum

Pitchers should have mandatory MRIs, at the end of every season, at the start of ST and at the ASG. It'll never happen, but it should. -
QUOTE(KevHead0881 @ Feb 25, 2006 -> 03:21 PM) At long last, the games are about to begin (granted, its only Spring Training, but I'll take anything at the moment). Anyways, here are the scheduled pitchers, per Scott Reifert's blog on whitesox.com. He's also back to daily updates on his blog. Usually good reading... Inside the White Sox Holy crap, I just noticed your picture of Joey Belle, lmao

The last time I went to the movies I paid $9.50. At that price, I'd have a hard time saying any film is worth the money.

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Feb 25, 2006 -> 12:22 AM) Lorena Bobbit must be on the loose and hungry. /sorry, I had to How do I change my Sox Talk name to "Nuked Penis"?

QUOTE(SouthSidePride05 @ Feb 24, 2006 -> 06:43 PM) Lower Bowl isn't even close to sold out.. and sales have basically stopped for now. For example, you can still get sec. 115, row 24, seats 1&2 for April 18 vs KC.. right behind first base. And many other games are just the same. ......and even when the lower bowl is sold out, you can still get seats in the UD, right behind home plate in the first few rows. Yes, attendance will improve this year, but we will still see a lot of empty seats.

QUOTE(Brian @ Feb 24, 2006 -> 04:45 PM) Went and saw "Running Scared". Just saw some good reviews but didn't know much about it. What a cool flick. Go check it out. Not a fan of Paul Walker by any means but he does a good job and the cinematography is top notch. There is a cool scene at a hockey rink under a black light that looks sweet. I know it is only Feb but this is my fav of the year so far. Wow, thx man. The previews look really cool, which usually means it sux. I'll go see it now that you've recomended it and if it sux you'll just have to pay me $9.50.

Yeah, but liking the sport you'd play factors into it more than anything....and I'm not a huge tennis fan and absolutely HATE golf. Yes, I am in the 'golf is not s sport' club.

Basketball Small Forward. Catching fire and shooting the lights out is an amazing feeling. Knicks. To be the king of NY has got to be sweet.

QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Feb 24, 2006 -> 01:17 PM) Like A Rolling Stone - Bob Dylan vs. A Day In The Life - The Beatles Though, as has been said, when I am sitting around, and a song comes on the radio and I say "Oh man, that f'in ROCKS" I don't think the reason behind that statement has ever been The Beatles, and it definitley has never been friggin' Bob Dylan! The first time I heard Dylan's part in 'We Are The World", I thought it was Eddie Murphy doing Buckwheat. That's what I think of Dylan's 'singing'.
