Update. Score? the good? the bad? the ugly?

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 09:18 PM) Hard rocks are essentially a joke. If you have been in one, you have seen them all. The only thing they are worth is getting a glass from them from each city. I agree and every city has that 'touristy neighborhood' that are pretty much clones. You have to get into the neighborhoods and the underground and meet the people to see the real city.

QUOTE(Texsox @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 02:50 AM) Accused of injecting semen (his) into mouths of patients He asked them to swallow?? That would strike me as strange right away. I'm not a dentist, but what would I need to swallow something injected into my mouth as part of dental procedure?

Vincent Gallo: "So, can you do this for me?" Christina Ritchie: "Well, I'll do my best". Gallo: "No, no, no, no. I don't need you to do your best, I need you to do it right." -from Buffalo 66.

The Division street bar scene. Is Mother's still there? LAME!

QUOTE(mreye @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 06:06 PM) I copy/pasted. At least you're honest....but Booooo. Here's one: Annette Benning: (angrily) So, you lost your job??!! Kevin Spacey: (sarcastically) No, I didn't 'lose' my job, it's not I looked up and thought hmmm, where'd my job go? No, I QUIT my job. -American Beauty.

QUOTE(mreye @ Mar 16, 2005 -> 05:57 PM) I have an M.D. from Harvard, I am board certified in cardio-thoracic medicine and trauma surgery, I have been awarded citations from seven different medical boards in New England, and I am never, ever sick at sea. So I ask you; when someone goes into that chapel and they fall on their knees and they pray to God that their wife doesn't miscarry or that their daughter doesn't bleed to death or that their mother doesn't suffer acute neural trama from postoperative shock, who do you think they're praying to? Now, go ahead and read your Bible, _Dennis_, and you go to your church, and, with any luck, you might win the annual raffle, but if you're looking for God, he was in operating room number two on November 17, and he doesn't like to be second guessed. You ask me if I have a God complex. Let me tell you something: I am God. -Alec Baldwin - Malice Good job, and I thought I was 'movie line freak'.....

um, what's a pole cat?

"We're gonna have a little shake up in the sales contest this month. First prize is a brand new Cadillac El Dorado. Wanna see second prize? A set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired." -Alec Baldwin addressing his sales team in 'Glen Garry Glenn Ross'. There have to be 20 great lines in that film alone.

QUOTE(mreye @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 09:29 PM) What is it? I'm leaving work soon. At least acne waits until you're a teenager before it cums all over your face.

Sox vs. "Insert Location"Angels "Location?"

QUOTE(YASNY @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 08:08 PM) He pitches as quickly as Buehrle, but he has more of an attack mode. BMac is impressive. I love to see that in a pitcher, work fast. The goal is to keep the hitter uncomfortable, one good way is to cut down his time to think. -
...and whenever Bonds did this, I knew he meant look the other way or 'else'.

Update please. Pitchers? Score? Stone? -
QUOTE(ChiSoxyGirl @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 07:06 PM) Acne stops bugging (or should I say buggering) you when you turn 18? Close, but that punch line wouldn't come with a warning.

QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 06:56 PM) If it involves youngsters and balls... yes it usually does. LOL. WARNING Obscene joke to follow: What's the difference between Michael Jackson and acne?
-
QUOTE(southsider2k5 @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 06:20 PM) And whose definition of "natural" you are using LOL, it always comes back to Michael, doesn't it?

They had a kid on there who was showing his arm's motion when he throws his curve. Not only did he snap it off at the end, but his entire hand did this upward twist to where his palm was facing up when he released. It was painful to watch him move his arm that way just describing the motion.

what's up with the missle smuggling?

Right now, I don't see either guy as having clear cut earned the spot. I've said this before, I hope the infield of 05 doesn't turn into the 5th starter situation of 04. A merry go round of mix and match amounting to jack squat.

QUOTE(RibbieRubarb @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 04:51 PM) He was considered, but his Oscar nomination for "Closer" has priced him out. They are looking to go the cheap route = relative unknown On a perosnal note my choices were: 1.Clive Owen 2.Hugh Jackman 3.Eric Bana But Julian and Daniel are the official final two from Sony. Well hell, I"m cheap.
-
QUOTE(AddisonStSox @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 03:10 PM) He also played one of the assassins in "Bourne Identity" His name is Clive Owen yep, THAT'S him, the search is over......and he's English.

I was watching a piece on Tommy John surgery last night. They were talking about how many teens and even younger kids are needing the procedure nowadays, some as young as 9 years old. This is mostly due to year round leagues which leads to overthrowing. Another reason is that more and more younger kids are throwing curve balls at a younger age. A Dr. on there said no one under the age of 19 should be throwing curves. Anyone have kids or coach little leagues?

QUOTE(Jabroni @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 03:06 PM) It says this right in the article... "...we want to hear what they have to say about themselves", makes it sound like everyone being asked to speak is under suspicion of juicing. What does a guy who doesn't juice have to say about himself? "Uh, I don't juice, may I leave now?"

QUOTE(mmmmmbeeer @ Mar 15, 2005 -> 02:54 PM) Schilling is testifying without any complaints and he's obviously in the union. If Frank is worried about his ankle then his lawyers need to announce that that's his issue and he'll participate via conference call. The excuse given sounds like a horrible cop out IMO. Looks like Frank getting bad advice again. It's a tough decision for sure. I'm sure Frank doesn't wanna be the union buster or the 'snitch'. You make a good point about Schilling, but this might be his last year playing. Frank still has a few left in him, why make enemies with guys you're gonna have to work with? Especially when he's not 100% sure where he'll be next year. I'm speculating a lot, of course.

Who was the English actor in 'Closer' who played Julia Robert's husband? I'd pick him. Can someone post his pic?
