As silly as this sounds, I don't think the Democrats really want to win this election and that's EXACTLY why Kerry is on the bill. I don't think they want to inherit the mess in Iraq and just want to see Bush ride it out. I think Bush will be declared the winner (3 weeks from now) and 2008 will bring us Gore or Hillary vs. Gulianni.

I agree, especially this past season, I heard Hawk make statements about players and talent that could be argued. DJ sometimes disagrees with him, but when he does, he doesn't put up much of a battle, just kinda concedes. Hawk and Stone would bump heads.

Steff, In the brief time that I have been on this board, I have not been in an 'argument' with anyone. However, you keep telling me that I am or am getting close to it. Everyone else seems chill and mellow. I will say this, I am opinionated and curious. So, if I read something on here that doesn't make sense to me, I will ask about it. But in general, I guess people don't like to be questioned, they seem to feel challenged. I can't help them with that.

You are pro choice and not lukewarm at all. You gave a very specific example of when you think it should be an option. Pro lifers would say it's never ok, even in your example.

a little off subject but an interesting question. How can you be lukewarm about it? You are either pro choice or pro life. There is no in between. If your stance on it is 'it depends on the situation', then I interpret that to mean abortion is acceptable in certain situations, but acceptable nontheless. pro lifers will tell you that abortion is never ok.

That's a loooooot of hoping. See that's the problem, we hope to luck into the WS and we don't MAKE it happen. We hope JR picks up top free agents, if not then we hope the players we have will overachieve, if not then we hope for the oposition to flop.

It also depends on who we'd face in the WS. People tend to jump on the popular bandwagon.
