Alexei , Rios and PK all out. PK with the back problem. Alexei and Rios played both games of the double header . I sure don't mind the changes today. Even winning in Boston the Sox offense hasn't looked sharp. Jones has looked like a better hitter lately. I remember reading something lately about Jones trying to replicate his stance when he was hit 50 HR's for Atlanta per Walker's suggestion. Seems like ever since I read that he's been hitting more for average. Q 3rd is fun to see as is Manny 4th. Still prefer Beckham not 9th. Last 45 or so games he's been one of the best hitters so why not try to get him a few more AB's ?

Not many posts after the 2nd game. I'll assume people were confused not knowing if they should post after the 2nd game in the 1sr game thread. Any way. Great pitching by the Sox and props to Jenks for saving both games. Just keep winning , just keep winning.

Red Sox played like crap except for the pitching. Bad D , terrible with runners on. Way to kick ass on teams that suck and manage to put together a nice little road win streak. Let's get 10 in row !

Pitching was great but damn sure seems like the Sox wanted to give that game away with all that disgustingly terrible base running. Let's just fake to 3rd and get an automatic out at first. Let's lead off with a double and still try and bunt him to 3rd. Ozzie's off the deep end with that crap.
