I really hope they get off to a good start this year.

They better. I'm not asking for 2005 or even 2006. But last year's start would be disastrous on many levels.

If the Sox can suck it up and forget about the cold and work the count, Carmona will walk every one of them and get guys on base for the sluggers.

He can just channel Miguel Asencio and throw 16 straight balls to start the game. That would be OK by me.

Those are the last 3 guys on the team I'd want hurling snowballs at me. I imagine a 96 MPH ball of packed snow and ice leaves a rather painful welt.

I saw the video earlier and immediately thought of that commercial when they say it's a bad idea to get into a snowball fight with Randy Johnson (can't remember the product, great marketing, right?). But anyway, those didn't look like soft-tosses there, and I love how they used the cameraman as a body shield.

But most importantly- almost game time! :headbang

Gotta clobber Fausto's weak s***. He can't strike anybody out, son.

I'm predicting two Brent Morel grand slams in the same inning, and a 13-5 victory.

Fernando Tatis Jr!
