QUOTE (TheBigHurt @ Jul 9, 2008 -> 04:36 PM) Does anybody here have DirecTV? Because I do, and on Comcast+ AND Extra Innings for the Sox game I just see a black screeen I'm getting the black screen too for the Cubs and Sox game and other games that start at 5 (PST)

QUOTE (FranktheTank35 @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 07:21 PM) What is the point of the widget, besides opening the voting page? So you can vote for Dye ?

DP WOOO HOOO ! Marathon ova !

It don't come easy, ya know it don't come easy.

Very nice and very weird inning but I love a 2 run lead and Alexei !

Soria will be in.

Thanks for not tagging up OC.

CQ 5 for his last 35 coming into tonight.

AJ gave it a ride for an out to center. Alexei tags up 1st and 3rd 1 out for CQ.

Jose is pitching like crap though, you're all right about that.

Can already tell we're on the road with the sloppy play. 3-1 Royals.

Some of you blaming Jose for the mess up at first isn't quite right. Paulie made a quick step towards 1st after not getting the ground ball. Jose saw that and slowed down assuming Paul was going to cover.

QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Jul 6, 2008 -> 04:29 PM) Jamie Burke pitched an inning today against the Tigers. However, in the 15th inning, he gave up a double to M. Cabrera, threw a wild pitch, then allowed Miggy to score on a sac fly and got the loss. Who ? Jamie Burke was a catcher with the Sox.

Olivo and Gload starting for KC tonight against the Sox.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 05:12 PM) What a terrible AB by AJP...swinging at everything Davies throws. Davies is a terrible pitcher, but it just seems like this is a very dangerous series for the Sox. Especially after a leadoff walk.

QUOTE (ScottyDo @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 04:16 PM) puzzling move. why would they DFA ozuna if they were going to put jenks on the DL? who are they bringing up? fields? richar? I agree, they could've kept Pablo a little longer but maybe Jenk's isnt headed to the DL but if he is and we call someone up my guess is Richar.

Jenks DL assignment will be retroactive to around June 29 so if true , he'll be back after the AS break.

Whitesox.com is sponsoring a contest that links Aaron Rowand to Jermaine Dye when you vote for JD for the final spot.

Gallagher , Murton, Patterson and Josh Donaldson from Peoria

I think it makes the site more beautiful Thanx JG.

QUOTE (Reddy @ Jul 8, 2008 -> 02:40 PM) ? .355 ba? Also have to remember his great D, that one game where he made 3 barehanded assists, his strong and accurate arm on the DP's and his speed in going after pop ups. Not only only 2 less RBI than Longoria but doing it from the bottom of the order.

As long as we're all in a voting mood, vote for Alexei Ramirez for the American League Rookie of the month for June. Every time you vote you get an entry to win a trip to the 2008 World Series and since the Sox are a contender this would be a very valuable prize indeed. QUOTE (Cubano @ Jul 6, 2008 -> 02:16 PM) I do not why Guillen has Anderson second against a lefty and Alexei 8th or 9th. It seems to me Alexei has been most productive batting at the bottom of the order. I don't know if the stats back me up but every time ARam bats second it seems like he has a bad game.
