  1. Weak bat, weak fielder, weak runner. What he makes this year will be his highest salary ever. Hell get red hot for a a few weeks eventually but he can't figure out how to do it for longer. He's minor league fodder next year. Send him down. He's getting a free pass playing so much while producing so bad.
  2. 4-10 is way better. At this rate we'll be 8-20
  3. Sure he probably had 1st hand knowledge but Sox prepare for the Rule 5 which means everyone involved in decision making on players reads various reports and gets scouting info . McKinven's expertise is not pitching. Because someone supposedly made a bad decision on choosing between 2 players doesn't automatically means he's a bad executive and every time he speaks he's to be scorned. Do we really need so little info to base our opinions ? It's meatball fandom and convincing yourselves you have great insight when it's really just overreaction based on knowing very little about ,well, everything .
  4. Where's your X to post all this juicy insider info you have ? SMH
  5. You're a breathe of fresh air.
  6. Dude it might be normal to not play a guy who played today already. He could've got there an hour before game time and not had enough time to go through his pregame routine. I don't know why you're so all fired up to put blame somewhere in every single situation. I'm just being fair . If they played a player short so be it. It happens and sometimes is unavoidable. Don't you ever just say things are never as we wish they were nor do they appear as we think we see it ?
  7. That's what I was asking to. Wegner said he was there because Kasper said so but that doesn't necessarily mean they decided he was available and if he did play earlier today it's likely they decided not to use him today .
  8. Maybe Connor McKnight or Garfien ?
  9. Well I'm in California and I manage and I don't have the MLB package but not sure if the MLB package stays with the broadcast long enough for post game show. If I get the CHSN broadcast like I did tonight I'll see post game.
  10. Pretty sure during the broadcast they put up a graphic that said Jones was called up. Schriffren said something like it might be a name people aren't familiar with and talked about his speed, defense and power.
  11. Preaching to the choir brother. He's clutching the purse strings. Hell never put the cart before the horse. He won't spend unless he's got the revenue. He won't spend to create revenue.
  12. Post game show ? I thought I heard Venable talking about Lee's left ankle but I wasn't really paying too much attention. Tweets ? Some do have post game access.
  13. The starting pitching so far has not been the problem and the defense has been surprisingly good. You just can't win many games averaging 3 runs a game.
  14. The starting pitching so far has been really good. So has the defense. But no hitting and bullpen woes plus injuries have to young arms and old veteran position players and Korey Lee might combine to get Quero up here and some of the younger relief pitchers. They'd have to do a lot of DFAs though so I don't know if they're just biting the bullet to save service time on as many players as possible. One things for sure, no one is going to be rushed unless injuries start forcing the issue.
  15. I have no idea what's going on. Grown men hold a lot of responsibility for their own health . Combination of cold weather and previous soft tissue injury, age and lack of pinch runner and trying too hard. I don't know if it's bad luck or just players grow up softer these days. There's no way to know and I can't blame people I have no knowledge about what they are advising or if the players listen. Obviously s%*# just happens too. Nothing is 100 % preventable. We could try to figure it out for a lifetime and never know. I don't look for people to blame with injuries. Maybe something somewhere might've made a difference in preparation or healing process but people get hurt exerting themselves even those with better doctors than the rest of us.
  16. Ha They called him up but I didn't know if he was there yet.
  17. Lol Wasn't me who used the word curse.
  18. Jones running for him I can agree with since he was the tying run and both play the OF. Was he in the dugout ?
  19. Yeah that will solve everything.
  20. Great ,the smarm has now invaded Future Sox which is supposed to be a safe haven from the Pale Hose Talk wretchedness. Not just content to make PHT a s%*# show you bring it in here.
  21. Are you kidding me ? It's obviously Katz and Bannister's fault . This is sarcasm. Around here stuff like this is taken as fact.
  22. Here comes another walk off loss.
