For all the times people talk about sample sizes and the need for lefty power, with the rest of the guys in the lineup also struggling and Gavin's performance last year and clearly being the heavy in the Vaughn playing time saga I'm sorry but I'm not seeing a lot of fairness towards him. It has always been about Vaughn and it will continue to be. All that being said Sheets has to step it up along with many of the others getting significant AB's. Given how badly most of the board wanted to pay Conforto I'm not real comfortable trusting most of who are the same guys shitting on Sheets. Sheets takes AB's away from Vaughn and he isn't Conforto and there's a lot of misdirected anger at him.

He's very generous with waitresses.

Because he's always been the fall guy for Vaughn's supposed lack of AB's so he doesn't get a pass even though there aren't a whole lot of guys lighting the world on fire offensively on this team yet. Vaughn's high offensive WAR so far is just about wiped out by his terrible defensive WAR. The Sox only have 3 guys currently on the team now with a positive offensive WAR.
