I'm not upset about Sosa at all. He's just been behind in almost every count. Once he can get ahead in a few counts he'd be fine. Worst thing you can do as a rookie hitter is constantly be behind 0-2, 1-2. Impatience is not a key to success.

Ha had to make me work. Figures when I don't read the whole thread it always comes back to bite me. I was too busy thinking he would be a legit pickup and checking his stats instead of reading the thread. Since July 17 he's 21 for 73 which is .288 and also has a 1.6 fWar on the season. Plus Elvis Night is on Aug.26 at home so sounds perfect !

What makes you think he's going to be released ?

All that is why I want Colas up and give Sosa AB's. He can't keep getting behind in counts all the time. When he starts getting ahead in some of them I expect better results. He may not look ready but he's up here and has power.
