Told You So
QUOTE (Leonard Zelig @ Apr 30, 2011 -> 05:31 AM) The White Sox are 1 game worse than they were at this point last year and that team won 88 games. This season is not over. Yes sir!

Told You So
QUOTE (oldsox @ Apr 30, 2011 -> 05:14 AM) Games aren't played on paper. They are played on television.

Humber
Humber has shown some talent, but Peavy has the expereince, Whether Peavy has the stamina and health to come back remains to be seen. I enjoyed watching him in the NYY game. He was real good

Your FIRST PLACE Chicago White Sox
QUOTE (Tex @ Apr 30, 2011 -> 12:03 PM) Remember this team? It's still out there. They will regain this form. As frustration and panic builds we can always count on a voice of reason bringing us back from the abyss

GAME THREAD: Orioles @ Sox, 4/29, 7:10pm
QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Apr 30, 2011 -> 04:10 AM) If we were 8 games out to the twins someone might be lose their job. Our crew thinks that they can wake up June, size the dust off and just win. How many years of losing early is a bad thing does it take to fix this. I have to agree this is becoming like a real bad broken record

GAME THREAD: Orioles @ Sox, 4/29, 7:10pm
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 30, 2011 -> 04:45 AM) No one is going to take Peavy off our hands next year unless he comes back throwing 94 mph this year and puts up an ERA around 3 If he did do that things might turn around

Ozzie Guillen Suspended
QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 29, 2011 -> 09:08 PM) That is pretty steep for a first offense. I think Ozzie has been suspended before and he knew it was coming. I would hope this might get some of our palyers to bear down and fight out of this slump now rather than have it continue to drag on. Ozzie went to bat for them. Joey Cora will undoubtably be the interim manager. Let's sweep the Orioles and show Ozzie some support that way

Win one for the gipper, or lipper, whoever, but win!

2011 White Sox Catch-All Thread
QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 08:00 PM) Yuk on Pierre/Omar 1-2. Teahen should never play more. Beckham has to start hitting for this lineup to be successful. Sending him down or benching him would be dumb. AJ is no longer a good hitter; I think we just have to face that. You seem frustrated

White Sox vs. Yankees 4/28 Thread
QUOTE (Brian @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 08:03 PM) Do it. Beat me to it. I had to wonder if Dunn would be in, which he is I see, but how will he fare against CC? I had Dunn as my PTC, but instead I am going with Castro

Predict the hits tonight against C.C.

2011 White Sox Catch-All Thread
QUOTE (since56 @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 12:55 PM) How much longer until Morel and Beckham are starting at Charlotte? Vizquel and Teahen should play more. Pierre and Vizquel should bat one two. I wish it wasn't this way but I have seen about enough of Beckham and Morel is not MLB ready yet if ever. If A.J. grounds out to the first or second baseman again I'm am going to...........well something. We should rename our Soxtalk site "Frustration Alley"

White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
QUOTE (Soxfest @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 12:39 AM) That is as horrid as it gets.............Colon sucks bad! He can't be sucking any worse than those last three batters for the Sox
-
White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
I don't be;ieve what just happened. Bases loaded and no out and we can't score
-
White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
Vizquel must have just popped out to shallow OF-no run scored
-
White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
Beckham is lost at the plate. No contact-called third strike at picthes in low to mid 90's
-
White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
Dunn singles and Rios walks. 2 on no one out...let's go boys don't stop now
-
White Sox (Buehrle) v. Yankees (Tub O' Goo)
QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 28, 2011 -> 12:27 AM) So, Mark been our worst starter so far this season? He did have one good game or so. Giving up a three run homer to alefty in the 1st inning is not my idea of keeping the Yankmees under control. But, maybe we can score some runs off Bart

Dunn
QUOTE (Tex @ Apr 26, 2011 -> 10:24 PM) I know, it's his ritual, iconic actually at this point, and it drives me nuts. Like I said, no matter the results. Joe Morgan was the same way. I just want to run out and hold the damn bat still. lol It was like Joe was cocking his rifle or something. (That sounded kinda xxx)

Your favorite defensive play since 2000
Reading posts about other great plays just reminds you how many there were. Wise for sure, Taguchi, Buerhle, etc. ANd how far back do you want to go?
