Konerko for the third time in this game!!!! You don't want to get teary eyed over one game but Konerko and Dye at lest should have been picked for the all-star team. They deserved it and probably so does Pods. Different thread though

. CQ was hitting .800 in two games but Carlos Quentin went 0 for 3 yesterday and is now batting .500. I say trade him while we can still get something for somebody obviously on his way down

We just heard Konerko saying we had to feast on teams in our own division and then KC beats us two in a row. Not a good way to compete for that division crown by losing two straight to a team with one of the three worse records in the league. But we are still only 2.5 games out of the lead

Down one in the late innngs can be overcome, but when your relief corps gives upo the homer in the last of the 8th it kind of deflates you. Bullpen allowed 3 runs to score. Oh well I guess we start over tomorrow.

Interesting that once we start winning and are within 2.5 games of the Tigers we see a beat writewr clamoring to get rid of players, specifically BA. Perhaps Mr. Cowley did not pay attention the last 30 games or so. Brian has the talent and ability and is now showing the maturity to make a posiitve difference for this team.
