He left a tie game after 7 innings, 8 hits, 4 runs, 3 earned, 0 walks, and 7 strikeouts. The bullpen went on to lose the game for the Royals.

He is 2-0 in 3 starts (1.23 ERA) against the White Sox this season, and 4 runs (3 earned) in 22 innings, while giving up 17 hits, striking out 24, and walking 3.

In today's Sun-Times, Cowley mentions that Greinke has plunked 29 batters over his career, with nine of them being White Sox. He's only hit five other players from AL Central teams. I guess he just doesn't have his good control when he faces the Sox.

AJ always finds a way to get a hit a time or 2 a game.

No Alexei again... interesting.

The post yesterday said Ozzie wasn't sure if he could play today or not. Usually when we hear something like that the player gets an extra day. I wouldn't be surprised if he was out tomorrow too, Ozzie does tend to be cautious.

Anyone know Teahan's career numbers against Danksy by any chance?

4-for-17 (.235), 1 home run, 1 walk, 5 strikeouts

Probably just an off day, he hasn't had one since May 16th...
