QUOTE (Jose Paniagua @ Jun 23, 2012 -> 09:22 PM) If you look real close, he double flipped off the camera man....then played it into a jersey popping. All in one motion you really should rewind....it's worth it, and his eye contact confirms it lol might do it. would make an excellent GIF

There's usually at least one pitch per at bat for Dayan where you go "what the hell are you swinging at?"

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 23, 2012 -> 09:03 PM) So many wrong statements made by these paid announcers National broadcasters are the worst. They just don't know anything about either team unless it's the BoSox/Yanks

Wait, what made them think AJ was bunting for a hit?

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jun 23, 2012 -> 08:39 PM) Wow, Lillibridge feel free to give some kind of catch attempt I wondered the same thing. It could have saved us a base not going after it, but it seemed like he had time to get there. I don't know.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 23, 2012 -> 08:34 PM) Loe significantly better against righties than lefties. Not sure what Ventura is saving ADA for, as it's not like he's going to hit for anyone else in the lineup. Perhaps taking the off day idea very seriously (or ADA is hurting/sore/etc)

QUOTE (Baron @ Jun 23, 2012 -> 08:33 PM) Except him doing that is highly unlikely The larger problem would be identifying when he has turned the corner. A week of good hitting? Two? ....and Brent Lillibridge STILL doesn't know what an offspeed pitch looks like

Hudson hitting at a .250 pace from here on out could sure save us a lot of headache.

Dayan not well scouted, he gets a lot of hits on soft grounders through the middle

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 23, 2012 -> 08:22 PM) I want to use the swear filter to change the phrase "DFA" to "I know nothing about baseball and I'm unworthy of using this abbreviation". Does Lilli have options?

QUOTE (greg775 @ Jun 23, 2012 -> 08:20 PM) Good to see Tank is 2-2. Game not on TV or mlb so I looking at box score. Lilly 0-3. WOW. He should be DFAed IMO. He can't hit a baseball anymore. He also made a stupid mistake throwing to the wrong base.

QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 23, 2012 -> 08:15 PM) Other teams have had no problem utilizing them correctly. If you were going to use Ohman tonight, it should have been to face their first two hitters in the lineup. Ohman this year has been no different than the rest of his career save giving up an inordinate amount of home runs, which might be better attributed to his old age. I don't think we were going to use him against that part of the order normally but I think they were saving for Bruney for an emergency type appearance on his first day with the club.

QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 23, 2012 -> 08:13 PM) The Sox pen has an ERA of 3.78, Milwaukee's pen has an ERA of 4.49, yet this thread has said the Sox have already pissed away the game. I would like to say that my post said "not a good game to piss away" The pissing has only started, not finished
