  1. With the look of those last 10 starts numbers, Shields would have been a nice one to get at the deadline
  2. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 07:51 PM) Peavy's got a lot of movement on his pitches. Hope that exists around the 5th. Typically fastball movement gets better as the game goes on
  3. Jake looks good so far
  4. That's a quality changeup
  5. Does Mike Huff have any relationship with the Sox?
  6. Nice miscommunication
  7. Stoney really struggling to have enough to say. Huff not as awkward as you might expect
  8. Hawk is out with flu-like symptoms
  9. QUOTE (kitekrazy @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 07:28 PM) Wow! Tampa's D worst than Detroit. Didn't know that was possible. Only in terms of errors, of course
  10. Dunn showing them wheels
  11. This is real and appeared on my newsfeed today. Names blurred for protection
  12. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 03:23 PM) We never really had John Danks all season. That shoulder injury was obviously bothering him all year, hence his 5+ ERA. Yeah, I consider him having him been lost the entire year, basically
  13. I'd be okay with individuals being able to opt out of all government assistance, but not states because I hardly recognize the state as a legitimate political unit
  14. Anything to suppress turnout in the Western country with already the worst turnout!
  15. Jake replied to LittleHurt05's topic in Pale Hose Talk
I keep thinking you guys are addressing me with these posts
  16. We've also dealt with the loss of John Danks, who would be immensely useful right about now
  17. QUOTE (Y2HH @ Sep 27, 2012 -> 02:55 PM) If you can't afford an ID, it's free, in every state. I should have been more clear. Can't afford a driver's license, the main reason anyone would get an ID beyond all the other things that identify themselves such as mail and whatever else they may have. It isn't easy for everyone to go to the DMV or wherever one obtains a free photo ID, especially when it never occurred to these folks that the people that have always let them vote suddenly don't like their old forms of ID
  18. Detroit's health is what is winning them this division. Their 3/4 hitters are going to play ~160 games and have been basically unencumbered offensively by injuries. Their top 3 starters all got healthy for the stretch run as well as their talented leadoff hitter. The rest of that team is very suspect (that's baseball, right?)
  19. A rising star, I'd say Must be why he got promoted
  20. This photo ID business really bothers me. I don't mind that you have to prove who you are, but there are other ways in which you can do that. This is a problem for a very specific group of people and reeks of our past history of suppressing the vote of the poor and minorities. We still love suppressing the rights of anyone that isn't perfect. Can't afford a photo ID? f*** you, no vote Gay? f*** you, no marriage
