  1. ^^^^ Guys, for the most part, that is very, very well done. Again, it's important to remember that those rankings don't indicate where those players will be drafted, it simply ranks them in terms of talent that will translate into NFL success.
  2. In. Was a lot of fun last year. This will be year three for me.
  3. Thanks a lot, fellas. It was a good one.
  4. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 03:05 PM) And this is why Kenny has no problem trading prospects. Well done.
  5. QUOTE(RX Bandits @ Feb 6, 2006 -> 02:51 PM) ISU GO!! BACKWARDS I SPEAK LIKE!!! I'm cracking the seal on the game tonight...I'm sure I'll be back for help.

QUOTE(Queen Prawn @ Feb 5, 2006 -> 03:06 PM) I heard about that and am excited to see the new ones. That is one series that really grew on me when I started watching it on Adult Swim. ^^^^^^^^^ That's about word-for-word the sort of reply I was going to write. That's amazing.
  7. QUOTE(Felix @ Feb 4, 2006 -> 11:13 AM) Nice rankings, although I don't really agree with your RB rankings. I'd say DeAngelo Williams is better than LenDale White, and Marooney is better than both Drew and Norwood. You won't be the only one. Maroney will be a first-round draft selection. I'm willing to take a little heat on the running back rankings and just adopt an "I told you so" stance in about a year or so.

  9. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Feb 2, 2006 -> 07:46 PM) To show just how much the so called "experts" know, there was a guy on the Score the other day from ourlads.com talking about the TEs available in this years draft. He started out by saying that there's no big time TE prospects this year and that none will go in the top five. He then mentioned Vernon Davis as a possibility for the Bears at #26. He then said that their best option at that pick would probably be Marcedes Lewis, he failed to even mention Leonard Pope and said that every TE comming into this years draft is proficient at both catching the ball and blocking. I was physically ill by the end of the interview. Yeah, I know; some of those national experts are just downright goofy. But, believe it or not, I've heard both things before. I've heard that Vernon Davis might slip, and I've also heard that Marcedes Lewis should still be viewed the second-ranked tight end coming out. Now, I don't think I agree with either of those, but, draft day is crazy and nothing would surpise me. That said, I just can't imagine Vernon Davis falling. Unless teams are just scared to death about what he has between the ears--or, the lack thereof--he's just a talent, pure and simple...I'm thinking Rams at 11, no later than 17.
  10. It's probably lead poisoning talking from those f***ing teeth.
  11. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Feb 1, 2006 -> 11:53 PM) Exactly, who the hell does a kid's dad think he is being involved in his son's decisions. Geez, why can't parents just learn to stay the f*** out of their kid's lives. Teenagers know everything already, why do they need their parents? ^^^ This is priceless. Had me holding my sides.
  12. Did I just see the Bishop Don Juan in attendance? Too cool. Excellent win, boys!

  14. QUOTE(SnB @ Jan 31, 2006 -> 06:39 PM) wow, this may be the best basketball i've seen them play all year, the last 10 minutes at least. I thought the game started at 7. So. f***ing. Pissed.
  15. Are you a mathematician? Statistician? I hate you. I hate you so, so very much.
  16. I'm pretty confident barring any absolute collapse in spring training, Joe Borchard will break camp with the big league club and will be the fourth outfielder. It really is his spot to lose. Now's your chance, Joe. He doesn't have any options left, he is a former first-round pick, the front office really, really likes him as a person, and, most importantly, he has more power than any of the other candidates. Joe brings more to the table than any of the other candidates right now. Owens will have his time. Hell, the kid is, what, just one year removed from football? I'm really pulling for Joe. Let's finally put it all together, Joe. The spot is yours to lose.
  17. Yes. For. When one's life is taken against one's will, removing him or her from their friends, family--their time on Earth--, the offender's life, in turn, should be taken. He or she should no longer be among the living. You had your chance. You decided to end someone's life with your time. You, too, should be removed from this Earth.
  18. QUOTE(Steff @ Jan 27, 2006 -> 09:07 AM) I've known Frank since day one, and believe it or not he was very, very humble when he first came up. He was extremely worried that he would not succeed and thought several times about going to football. He was scared s***less his first 2 years with the Sox, and really didn't start getting a s***ty attitude for quite a few years. Most of it stemmed from the Sox wanting him to be more of a leader - a role he is sooo uncomfortable with as noted many times. I wonder if they had left him alone on that issue would he be different. In any event, I wish the old Frank was still around... Fair enough. I'll go ahead and take your word for it. There was a long period there during his hey in which he alienated himself from the White Sox fan base. I can't quite pinpoint the when and where, but, it seemed he finally endeared himself to the aforementioned fan base, becoming very popular up until last year's historical run. As I've mentioned, it's just a shame to see him once again alienate himself from a group that finally came to accept him and consider him the best player ever to put on the uniform. Certainly, the majority of Sox fans won't read these quotes, and it probably won't even matter when it comes to his first at-bat or appearance in USCF, but, in some abstract way, it's jus disappointing.
  19. QUOTE(thedoctor @ Jan 27, 2006 -> 07:30 AM) chuck lamar tried to make this happen before he got fired, but he would not settle for any other name than "yankees," "red sox," or "cubs," so nothing got done. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Jan 27, 2006 -> 08:05 AM) LOL, I heard he was holding out for "better" names. I hope kyyle and I are not the only ones to find the humor in that. Brilliant.
  20. See, it was all about closure with Frank. He wanted to leave Chicago as big an egotistical prick as when he first arrived. That is just so disappointing. Believe it or not, Frank, you still are not above the team concept in baseball...nearly 500 homers later.
  21. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 07:54 PM) It's locked. Tear yourselves apart then. :rolly
  22. Then re-post in the existing thread. Personally, I really don't think this topic merits its own thread...let alone two. Familiarize yourself with board rules, perhaps?
  23. QUOTE(DukeNukeEm @ Jan 26, 2006 -> 06:33 PM) No. Its not f***ing well thought out at all, in fact its so f***ing retarded I'm not even going to talk about it anymore. Guess what? Vernon Davis is a f***ing TE, not a WR. Would you take Vince Young and move him to RB because he comes off to you as a better runner than thower? No. You wouldnt. Now please, shut the flying f*** up. Chill, bra. We're talking draft, I'd hate to see you get in trouble. Take it easy. It was a fine thought and I'm sure a thought that will merit some consideration. You'll see him out in the slot quite a bit.
  24. Finally got around to plugging in my Christmas' gift, the Bose SoundDock system. It lives up to the hype. This sound is incredible.
