  1. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Feb 10, 2006 -> 02:17 PM) Good addition to the team...could be the favorite to be the 2nd lefty out of the pen. In the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king, huh?
  2. T-minus six hours. Unbelievably pumped. f***in'
  3. QUOTE(Gene Honda Civic @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 11:41 PM) He could take Milton's spot in the rotation I was expecting much more. /not mad, disappointed
  4. Alright, guys, I need the song name and artist for the wacky opening song of Dumb and Dumber ...I checked the sou.ndtrack...I don't think it's on there.
  5. Can you guys just quit now and hand Goldy the trophy? There's no shame in that.
  6. QUOTE(NorthSideSox72 @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 04:51 PM) Most people here, though, feel Owens would do better with another year in the minors. ...and playing a corner-outfield position, especially at the ML level.
  7. QUOTE(MarkBuehrle_TheAce @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 04:31 PM) am I the only sox fan in this forum who happens to beleive that jerry owens should be our starter in center? Yes.
  8. I write in cursive each and every day. It's the only thing I use when taking notes in class. I didn't realize how much of a dying breed those who consistantly use cursive were until my friends kept saying, "Wow, do you really write like that? That's really good penmanship." I'm much more comfortable with cursive, the words just seem to flow quicker and easier for me. Plus, when I print, I usually use all CAPS for some reason.
  9. QUOTE(Steff @ Feb 9, 2006 -> 11:19 AM) Supposedly he did spend time in 2 different centers in AZ last year. Well, there ya go. I won't even pretend to know anything about the NHL and its personnel. Would JR be involved in this?
  10. I don't know if this has been mentioned anywhere, but I know Roenick has severe gambling issues. I think his family wanted him to go through detox or whatever for it.
  11. QUOTE(illinilaw08 @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 06:54 PM) http://scout.scout.com/a.z?s=169&p=9&cfg=bb&c=8&yr=2006 That's a list of the commits. The prospects at this point are Leon Freeman and Ramar Smith, both 6-4 SG from Michigan, though they both have grade issues. Patrick Beverley 6-2 SG from Marshall in Chicago (though he and his coach have been upset with Weber for not making an offer yet). That's just off the top of my head. Weber could still bank the scholarship and use it next year, and I have no idea if Weber is recruiting an Junior College guys (I think that recruitment usually picks up in April though I could be wrong about that). Hope that helps. You can't see the list if you aren't a member.
  12. Can someone just give me a real quick list of 06' recruits for the Illini (BB). You don't have to go in-depth if you don't want to.
  13. Damn, Rock, tough crowd.
  14. QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Feb 8, 2006 -> 06:22 PM) Didn't even notice....why the change? Politics now discussed in Fillibuster.
  15. Thanks again, gang. It's appreciated.
  16. Wow, ESPN sure hit the ground running with those three.
  17. Online registration for the Wall Street Journal was an absolute breeze. If anyone was hoping to subscribe, but was scared away at the thought of a nasty online registration, fear not, it was painless. Highly recommended.
  18. Thanks, boys. Also, any tips for baserunning? I use to slay on the basepaths in 05', now I'm just having a real hard time. Can we change it back to 05' running options? For power, all you have to do is hold L1?
  19. Tonight's TOP Headline on Sportscenter: Rocket back to Boston? ...and, oh yeah, the Steelers won the Super Bowl. NOW...back to Boston and Peter Gammons.
  20. Initial reaction: looks promising, but, these new features are going to need some getting-used-to Questions: -How do you throw the baseball with the stick without upwards of five errors in one game? -Are there other views besides the behind-the-pitcher when pitching and is there any way to quicken that view up without having to watch him get the ball back, get settled, etc? -How do you swing for any power with the stick and can you direct your swing--pull or hit to the opposite field? -Should I even be wasting my time with the load-and-fire? -Doesn't the actual game seem to take a lot longer?

  22. QUOTE(SoxFanForever @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 02:03 PM) Yes, I have a feeling that without an elite O-Line blocking for him he might turn into Ron Dayne II. In my opinion, LenDale is going to be a lot like Pre-Decline Jamal Lewis. These sorts of runners usually don't have any problems adjusting to the NFL. He's as close to a sure thing as there is. Out of the top three backs in the draft, he's the one I have the least concerns about.
  23. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Feb 7, 2006 -> 01:38 PM) Anybody think Lendale White is projecting too high in most of these mocks? Absolutely not.
