Sorry to be repetitive but one hand is garbage. If a California Cool guy like Edmonds can use two hands, an infinitely inferiro jobber liek Timo Perez can BOTHER to raise his left hand. Kong just went deep as I type! -
Deron williams holding a press conferance

He's ready, no matter what the detractors say. I'm sad and happy at the same time. Best of luck to him, what a great kid he and the other guys were -
TLR is no moron, he's the best manager in baseball and a very, very loyal guy. DP has gone way down hill and you can directly attribute that to Rex Dibble being gone. Patrick is like Greenberg where they both whine too much and need that funny guy to drag them back in. THat's why Mike/Mike works and the DP show no longer does

Redskins/Broncos deal
Punch and Judy Garland replied to WHarris1's topic in Alex’s Olde Tyme Sports Pub
I'm a litle upset as the resident Bronco fan only for selfish reasons. The draf tis a fun day that I will be less into now. Anyways, yes htis pick will be higher than 25 next year so I am happy about that. However, I think the Redskins are getting ready to make a run at Edwards or Williams with their new pick. I think Nick Saban will be very interested in this news. -
not sure I'd call it a "popular" commercial. I think it's a terrible spot so your version wasn't much for me but thanks for the effort. Anyways, the whole Twins thing always bothered me because it sort of encourages incest. Not that it's one of those things you are supposed to analyze.

So far, so wrong for me. I do however caution people that their wins over the GIqnts might look worse later on if the GIants prove to be a 70 win team. That said, with Penny and Gagne on the way back-they could be good. I might end up being as wrong about this Dodger team as ANY team in my memory -
I wouldn't want to be at dog day but it sells tickets so........

Rock, I was hoping an e-mailer or caller would correct them but I had to go to a very EARLY class

Jim, they are probably waiting for it to be later than April 19th. I've always been Jurassic neutral. I liked him more as the 6th hitter in our loaded lineup than as the man in the current form. I still think it was dumb to bring him in given his contract and how we could have had him the offseason before and not had to trade stuff for him twice. I don't know who the odd man out is right now: probably Rowand and Dye splitting time but that will play itself out. Signing Hidalgo to a one year deal sounds better than Dye at 2 years at this very early moment...

What? Steve Phillips was the GM of the New York MEts and a former player who works for espn as an analyst. Gm of espn radio?

Vinny makes so much money that it wouldn't be worth exploring too much anyways. I think he'd hit in this park though

Steve Phillips praised the Sox on Mike and Mike int eh mornign this morning. He said that they didn't build a team they way he wanted to (too easy jokes here so don't botehr) but he said that doesn't matter as long as the GM, manager and players believe. So he praised the Sox pretty heavily so now some of the posters can orgasm now that they finally got mentioned on national tv. Anyways, the real point of this post was to bring up a bizarre point that was made. Greenberg, an old Score guy who is really good, made a big error. He started talkign abotu Buhrle and how good he's been this year but how he never lived up to the hype he had coming in. He was implying that Buehrle was basically an underachiever. Mistakes happen and are more forgivable than most on soxtalk tend to believe but Mark was a 38th round pick and is one of the great overachievers in White Sox history. He gave Phillips the chance to correct him and Steve didn't take it-likely out of politeness.

Yeha Vinny didn't hit much away from home last eyar, although he hit mroe homers ont he road than at home. I am not sitting here saying Vinny ios a great choice or that I would even bring him in. If the question is Vinny at 300K vs. Joe Crede at 300K-I'll take Castilla because he's a better player and has been for a long time.

I just ewanted to go off a bit here an mention Steve Finley's brutal start for anyoen with him on their fantasy team. I was worried due to his age and then I looked at his splits for his career and especially the last 5 years. He struggles to hit over 200 most APrils and hten come son big in May. Just wanted to point that out for those concerned -

maybe I'm wrong. I hadn't followed their minors numbers. I disagree about Diaz being a joke though -

I'm sorry because I'm one of his fans but Cotts might need a trip south to clear his mind. I'd liek to see Diaz brought in or Kevin Walker -

SInce his era was 11.57, he gives up a run and it actually goes down. -

The Count was brutal but Jurassic was great and Crede had a great all-around game. Viz was shaky in the end of the 6th but was great int he 7th and Hermanson rebounded nicely. Shingo struggles against lefties a lot but he is still on against righties. Arguably the worst the Sox have been this year but they got the W. Good thing we got the Duke tomorrow night
