I would cheer Maggs if I was at tonight's game but I guess I hadn't really thought of Konerko as a Tiger next eyar, but if you think about it-it is HIGHLY possible. THey have a hole at first and they will spend money
My point is that Kansas gets kind of screwed (perhaps justified, not for me to judge) but what can happen to Roy Williams. Plus it makes you wonder about McCants, Williams, May and Co.
I like his site. Let's you keep up wiht the rumor mill. It's more of a compilation so you get bogus stuff but it keeps your finger on the pulse of sports

He seems to like players on other teams a lot more than on this team at times.
I don't even know who you are, but your knowledge of me is flattering!
BTW I hope that people who ripped the NL for starting Carpenter take a good look at todays game. Carpenter outdueled Clemens with a virtuoso performance and Dontrelle's slide continues.
Redman is mediocre. Nto the type of guy we want. He couldn't even start for us in the postseason so his value would be if you thought he could pitch out of the pen for you, but not for his dollars.
I hadn't thought about Arroyo. That has to be intriguing for Florida. Isn't he a groundball pitcher? If so he'd love to have Gonzo and Castillo up the middle.
Yeah but among the best in baseball would imply top 10-15 and for a guy who had a high era, walked guys, gave up a ton of hits, and didn't strike guys out-how good could his stuff have been?
You notice that Hawk has ridden umpires much more this year? I agree that those Garland pitches were strikes but winning makes Hawk a little too pompous for my tastes. Also, saying Elarton had among the best stuff in baseball while with Houston is laughable.
