Baltimore would definitely extend Burnett. As would Toronto. We'd probably not. Burnett will get 4 years at least and we likely won't go there. If I'm the Marlins I like adding Julio and a young guy like Cabrera to the NL in a pitcher's park.

If you watched Eckstein day-in, day-out you would realize he is better than advertised. His defense is actually pretty good and he is a very adequate leadoff man for that team. I honestly was an Eckstein-hater before this year after only watching him a little bit in Anaheim.

I want Rogers in as the second or third pitcher becausse otherwise the "Kenny ROgers Bullpen Watch" dominates the game thru 9 innings. At least if he pitches the 4th inning then the story comes to a head and we can move on.
