  1. QUOTE(whitesoxeducator @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 10:29 PM) im sure that was all ozzies fault too 91403? Yep, it sure was. Did I say that. I blasted Ozzie's decision to leave Buerhle in the 7th. I said nothing of the balk. Please
  2. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 10:31 PM) Nah, Cora is a pretty darn good 3rd base coach. Aside from that Ozzie definately mismanged this. You could tell Mark didn't have it and Marte is up for a reason. Of course on the flipside, Buehrle pitches quite well to Chavez so who knows. Still he left him in a little too long. Cora is ok, but I cringe a lot of times when I see hin sending guys home. The Sox get lucky a lot there too.
  3. QUOTE(sox4lifeinPA @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 10:28 PM) for two years since last october...yes Believe it or not, I was a Sox fan before I joined this board. Common sense would tell you that I discuss The Sox outside of this board. All I am saying is that Ozzie makes stupid decisions and we have gotten lucky in some of these wins in spite of it.
  4. QUOTE(nitetrain8601 @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 10:25 PM) It was clear tonight that Buehrle wasn't having a good night. I could maybe understand keeping him out there for the 6th to keep his streak alive, but he should've pulled him after that inning or at the very most, allow him to get one runner on, then pull him. Nope, he waits until all tying runs are on. He's a moron and Joey Cora isn't much better,
  5. QUOTE(thomsonmi @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 10:25 PM) Relax, those stupid decisions have played a role in our 16-4 record. He has gotten lucky with some them. Ozzie is terrible, I have said that for 2 years now.
  6. QUOTE(sickness212 @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 10:03 PM) On the site it says "Lower level seating is not available for games played against the Chicago Cubs", so If i bought this package, I would be sitting in the upper deck to watch this game? I ordered mine back in January and got lower reserved for Cubs games, bleachers weren't availiable then for Cubs games. So, something may have changed for lower level since then. I don't know.
  7. QUOTE(toasty @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 08:19 PM) LOL .... i got it now.... i think i WILL stay away from that jersey on ebay after all... CANSECO .... ICK oh man, why? Get that jersey
  8. QUOTE(sickness212 @ Apr 26, 2005 -> 07:48 PM) I Went to go buy Minnie plan online, and I can't even see the seats I am paying for until they charge my card?? So I don't even know where they are until later? I hope I am doing something wrong here. No, you're not. You won't know your exact seats until they send the tickets. I ordered lower reserved and didn't know the sections until my tickets got here
  9. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Apr 25, 2005 -> 10:27 PM) 5 games up on the Twinks. Just keep going and don't look back.
  10. Rowand should have never been sent home, they could have really hurt themselves again. But, I'll take all of the wins.
  11. QUOTE(hammerhead johnson @ Apr 22, 2005 -> 06:56 AM) All of Dan's impersonations are hilarious. I think I like the Alan Keyes one the most. Was anyone listening the other day when Terry Boers told Rick Telander to bite him during the transition? Yes. I did hear that. I gained a lot of respect for Boers also when he told Mike North he was a dope a few weeks ago too after North asked a stupid question.
  12. I really liked Torborg also. I was pissed when he left for The Mets. Trivia Question for everyone: who were/was the manager(s) for The Sox between LaRussa and Torborg
  13. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 11:07 PM) In the great words of Harry Doyle, aka Bob Uecker: "That looked like the Terminator, only slower. Maybe it was his out-of-stater, or it could have been the Hibernator--that baby is definitely going away for the winter. Whatever for Takatsu, it might be see-ya-later. He's probably gonna become a spectator." Major League 2 was so awful compared to the original. But, good ol Harry Doyle had some good ones in 2 also.
  14. QUOTE(Brian @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 08:06 PM) Will you be serious. It is actual 867-5309 f***ing Classic
  15. QUOTE(hi8is @ Apr 20, 2005 -> 11:27 PM) im not concerned... IM STOKED! i cant wait to see them play the angles... im goin to all the games again, anyone in cali... we should meet up =) i am concerned with the angles... they have some good stuff on that team oakland has always given us trouble, i think they will be a good match. that said, we'll do fine... by then, the offence should be rolling on all cylenders and the bullpen will be more settled Of course, i'm assuming you mean The Angels
  16. QUOTE(Capn12 @ Apr 21, 2005 -> 01:52 AM) Just wish CLee well with the Brewers, I know I hold no ill will towards him. Carlos frustrated the hell out of me a lot when he was here, but I won't say a bad thing about him. For good measure, when I went to the friday preseason game in Milwaukee, I bought me Caballo jersey shirt.
  17. Thanks, I was trying to remember who was on that team for some reason. I thought Richard Jefferson and The PG Jason Gardner were on that team too though and then after the title game they all went pro but Gardner pulled his name back, oh well, I guess not. Anyway, where di you find that at? There are some other team I want to look up.
  18. I was at Tuesday Night's game. (I have no problem if Pinhad fans want to come and watch the real Chicago team play) But, what I did have a problem with was the Sox bashing by these idiots. Two pinhead fans walked out in their pinhead gear and were trying to rip The Sox, they got booed out of the damn place and it was great. Another thing I couldn't figure out was kid in A sox hat rooting for the Twins. Oh well, throwing the ball back is North Side s***, keep that garbage up there.
  19. What happened to J Hood?Why did they yank him from the afternoon show? He does have his own show on the weekends now. I liked Hood when he was on until anywhere from 11pm to 1am. He did some funny stuff late nights, that made me laugh at the start of my work day.
  20. Anyone know where I can find a roster for this team? I have been searching for a while and no luck. Thanks
  21. QUOTE(The Critic @ Apr 15, 2005 -> 10:15 AM) True, but Gonzalez's furry Wooly Mammoth bodysuit was ALL THE RAGE!!! Yeah but he was even better as El Gigante back in the old WCW days
