  1. This game was awesome. Hell of a game by Rauch, and then the bullpen was awesome. It was really nice to see Politte come in in that situation and shut the Indians down. Great job my Damaso, too. Rowand and his glove =
  2. Frank, Appling, and Shoeless Joe.
  3. I was sitting right behind home plate for that game.... rough ride home.
  4. At least you get to watch/go. I can see all the games, but I'd kill to BE at them. even this s***ty game that is now unfolding. Cub jackasses around or not, you can go to the games pretty much whenever you want. I, and alot of others, do not have that luxury. Be thankful.
  5. Mike is a great guy, but he doesn't belong in our pen. Please, Mike, take your leave.
  6. That makes sense. I thought he saw it go over the fence, hit something and bounce back, and then he decided he would act as if it didn't go over. f*** Jakko :fyou :fyou Mike Jackson, I've finally had enough.
  7. I could have sworn we had a tie game, everybody except the umpires (Matt Lawton acted as though he thought it were gone too.)
  8. And they're trying to sell hamburgers with this?
  9. I must say though, that 2-1 pitch to Frank in the first appeared to be, as Hawk says "right.... there", and Timmons called it a ball. I couldn't believe. K-ZONE, which I think the announcers would trust that thing with their lives they love it so much, showed it in the very f***ing center of the box. I think K-ZONE is cool, but when the ESPN guy sees that it touched just a little bit of the square it should have been a strike, and if the ball just misses the square, and the ump calls it a strike, "he missed the call" That last sentence had a lot of words, sorry if it was difficult to follow.
  10. Last night Rick Sutcliffe said that the reason Uribe is having such a good year is because he HAS been listening to Walker.
  11. And this is a McDonalds fast food commercial? Where is the tie-in?
  12. Most definitely. I go from seeing 1-2 games a week (on WGN), to watching all of them, and for $15 a month, it is well worth it.
  13. That is f***ing brilliant. I want a shirt where the front says, (in nice, ivy texted font) Wrigley Field. And the back says, "a playground for the cocksuckers"
  14. Literally LOLing. Poor guy, because I do like him, but that's too funny.
  15. I would kill to see him go back to the Mariners. But with the way each of those clubs are playing, it likely won't happen for awhile.
  16. Seriously though, it was pretty funny. I think Frank has got to be the worst thrower in the Bigs. Edgar Martinez may be worse now, because I'm not sure he has thrown a baseball in the last couple years. Watching Frank shuffle from first towards third with a runner on second made me literally laugh out loud. I love that guy.
  17. That's alot of f***ing ifs, dude. We haven't even played 70 games and people are making like we're down 4 games with 5 left to play. Holy s***! there is not a single f***ing team in history who hasn't had a poor stretch. Even the 98 Yankees lost 4 in a row.
  18. f***ed for what? The season? Give me a f***ing break.
  19. We were without PK, Maggs, and Crede, and Day pitched well. This was not a game that we were going to score a bunch of runs. Oh well, its f***ing June. Don't get too high with a win, don't get too low with a loss. Take everything in stride, it seriously makes these games alot is easier (as a fan). It doesn't mean that I don't care that much, becasue I do.
  20. He was saying that you either have the attitude that you can come back from anything or you don't. Either you are totally pregnant, or you're not at all.
  21. Even though we lost the game that became winnable, I think this is the best I've felt after a loss this year, even though the pitching was s***, except for Shingo, who has retired the last 24 hitters he has faced. It was great how we battled back, and I really thought we were going to as well. I didn't get too upset after the 2nd inning, because I legitimately felt we had a shot at this game.
  22. What the f***? NEVER has the team that should have won lost. It's impossible. Why should we have lost? Because we were down 5-0? Maybe they should have lost, seeing as how they blew a 5 run lead in the last two innings. "We should have been swept" It astounds me how when me win a ballgame that we didn't play very well in "we should have lost" That is my number 1 ,f***ing capitalized NUMBER ONE, pet peeve among sports fans. Every single team that won the game, should have won.
  23. Ahh... that explains it all right there. Thank you.
