  1. QUOTE (Palehosefan @ Aug 20, 2009 -> 08:29 PM) It takes some kind of special scumbag to get two final fours vacated in a coaching career, and he of course walks away with a better deal. I can't wait until Calipari and worldwide Wes's little cheating world comes crashing down. No, Reggie is definitely a bigger slimeball than Calipari. You have no idea. The guy is trying to live through Derrick.
  2. QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Aug 19, 2009 -> 04:00 PM) He used to be able to slow his curve to 55 MPH with a massive break. He had video game stuff. Corrected
  3. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 08:56 PM) Don't trust game day. All you had to do was watch him pitch to know he was not very good. If his velocity is good and his offspeed was offspeed enough, there may be something there for a 5th starter. You're not going to get quality starts every time out. Sorry, it just doesn't happen. I'd probably give him another shot.
  4. I honestly would've left him in longer so you don't burn the bullpen.
  5. Tigers win, we win. Tigers lose, we lose. So far, we should win then, right?
  6. QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 08:34 PM) post please. I gotta wait until he pitches in the next frame. Lemme see if they have it up anywhere else.
  7. Anyone catch Garcia's mug on his updated photo? He looks like the Venezuelan version of Kenny FKN Powers!
  8. QUOTE (rangercal @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 07:53 PM) qb even wr packers te Bears OL even RB Bears Looks like an edge to the Bears to me QB - Packers(Cutler is a great pickup for the Bears, but Rodgers at this point in time is a better overall QB as he makes less mistakes) Receivers - Packers (Include Olson and Clark, it don't matter, they don't make up for the rest of the receivers) OL - Packers (A pretty good unit familiar with each other; Bears have question marks with Pace's & Williams' health) RB - Bears (Hopefully for Bears fans, he doesn't catch the Anthony Thomas syndrome)
  9. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 06:40 PM) No. A++++ Read. Would buy book again.
  10. I like the fattie better. The thin one looks like complete utter garbage. Good thing the fat ones are being lowered as well to $299. A blu-ray player and game system for $299? Yes, Hell Yes! I gotta buy a couple of fat ones.
  11. He still should've been able to pitch I think. Pretty rotten of the parents to make sure not to tell anyone what the league tried to do for them though.
  12. QUOTE (chw42 @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 04:58 PM) I'm so tired of this crap. Favre's basically doing hit and runs with teams that are desperate at QB these past two years. "Hey look, there's a team without a QB, I'll go there, screw it up, and then ditch them for another team that needs a QB by retiring and then coming out of retirement in the off-season." He's become a whore. Disagreed. The Packers were pretty damn good, even in his final years there. The Jets were pretty damn good last year before he got hurt. Is he a primmadonna for not wanting to practice? Yeah, but at the same time, he's probably earned some of that treatment considering in the amount of games he's played in.
  13. What he say? And he probably knows what to say considering his acting career has consisted of nothing for like the past 8 years, so he probably watches.
  14. Dang it. Does anyone know if they'll replay it because I'm at work and I can't DVR it from work.
  15. Everything's a matchup. VS RHP OF - Podsednik 2B - Getz DH - Thome C - Pierzynski 1B - Kotsay OF - Wise OF - Thornton 3B - Williams SS - Buehrle I'm too lazy to do the rest, so I'll let Harold "Sleeping" Baines do the rest.
  16. Wise is like Jason Bourne. You can't defeat him.
  17. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 02:47 PM) The Onion? Suntimes.
  18. I don't hate the guy. He is a bit of a primmadonna. I think a lot of Bears fans do hate the fact that he killed them alot of times though.
  19. Too much talent on the team not to do anything. And chances are, they probably will not. I think by the time the team starts taking it serious, it will be too late to hit the switch and we'll end up a game out because of our own stupidity.
  20. QUOTE (JFields27 @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 12:25 AM) That was a very fun game to be at. Linebrink sucked so much energy out of that place though, and my friend who hates linebrink called the Jacobs homerun. A.J.'s homerun was fantastic. I sat right behind the foul pole in the 500's, fun stuff. Definitely a fun game. I was also at it. I called the 3 run jack as soon as I saw Linebring come in. My girlfriend said, "Wow, you follow this team way too much". Very very fun game.
  21. Confirmed by the newspaper of my choice, Freddy wearing 43.
  22. QUOTE (YASNY @ Aug 18, 2009 -> 07:35 AM) Scott "Two Walks and a Long Ball" Linebrink If you shorten it up a bit, I think you got something. Scott "Longball" Linebrink Scott "Leadgiving" Linebrink
  23. QUOTE (rockren @ Aug 16, 2009 -> 05:42 PM) Pods fly ball in Left in the 8th should have been caught. The ball hit at the lower base of the wall...he makes Manny look good in Left. He wouldn't have caught that unless he was lucky. He's not tall enough to make that leap.
