QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Apr 8, 2006 -> 02:33 PM) He is the biggest strikeout starter on the team. It'll be him or Contreras this year, no doubt. -

C'mon Clifford. -
It's not looking too good for us now, but hopefully we could string together a few wins.

Well that sucks. Javy has pitched a really good game, but our offense hasn't given him crap. We need this game. -
QUOTE(AbeFroman @ Apr 6, 2006 -> 11:43 AM) I wish that McPhail and Reindorf would have gone after marriotti on a different issue rather than this one. There are plenty of things to fire off at that idiot at rather than this. I don't think there's not really much they could go after in terms of subject. If they would've badtalked Mariotti in the press for always talking s*** about both teams, it would've made them look like babies and unprofessional. I think this is a good argument.

Only thing I would change is make it square, but I actually do like the rest of the design. -

I'd move Memphis higher. -
QUOTE(GoTribe @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 01:53 PM) From the perspective of those on the Eastern Time, I think a majority went to bed. I for one figured it should've been called and replayed today or tomorrow afternoon, but its not my opinion. Nevertheless I saw a lotta pop in the Sox lineup, I saw a lot of mistakes on the Indians part, bullpen killed us. And truthfully I thought we had no chance yesterday when the rain came, I just figured there is no way we can go and win in this city, this atmosphere, this late at night. Let's hope, from an Indians Fan, the W is next to the wigwam tomorrow.. Welcome aboard. It's nice to get perspective's from other team's fans. I also had a thought last night that after the rain delay, whatever team that was going to win was going to score alot more runs than the other team. As a Sox fan, I'm glad we were on top of that.

QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 01:42 PM) Nitetrain, admit it, you made this comment just to get a rise out of everyone. I made the comment to get a rise out of everyone...partially.

QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 01:30 PM) Throws more innings, wins pretty much more games. Basically our most consistent starter. I'll take the innings argument, but he also only feasts off bad teams or low pressure situations. He almost always craps on himself in big games or against good teams. He's consistently good against bad teams, and he'll give us innings, but the other guys will do so as well.

QUOTE(Felix @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 01:15 PM) Mark Buehrle is the face of this pitching staff, and even the team. If he's out of Chicago anytime soon, not only will the fans be pissed off, but I'm sure some of the players won't be the happiest (Garland?). I guarentee he's going nowhere anytime soon. I could care less about faces of the team. I like Buehrle and all as a person, but to me he's the weakest guy of the staff though no one will ever admit that. He isn't good against good hitting ballclubs and basically feasts off low pressure/bad team games. And KW is trying to make the World Series trophy the face of the team, not a player.

QUOTE(Felix @ Apr 3, 2006 -> 12:50 PM) You have no heart at all apparently. Get rid of Contreras, quickly. BMac is ready to start now, and he's a better pitcher than Contreras, both now and in the future. Heart for what? Even KW said this is a business. And Contreras is better than BMac over the course of a season and that will show.
-
Let Buehrle go and have BMac take his spot. I don't care about not having a LHP in the rotation.
-
Hopefully Damaso, Viz, Duque, Blum, etc are there to accept their rings.
-
From my experience with it two seasons ago, you both will be able to have access at the same time. I remember logging onto it with 2 computers at school and my friend logged on from his house all at the same time.

HELL f***IN YEAH! EAT s*** INJUNS NUKE CLEVELAND!
-
I think we just have an option for Iguchi. Dye's an unrestricted FA.
-
Dangit, and my computer's DVR equipment f'd up so I couldn't record anything past the rain delay. That was a shot though.
-
Having no chat during a game is like taking the "White" off the "Sox". I just don't know what's going on around here anymore.

QUOTE(beautox @ Apr 2, 2006 -> 08:44 AM) I agree, and did anyone listen to KW during yesterdays game with the braves in the booth with Hawk and DJ? he said hes going to follow the braves philosphy and stockpile our starting pitching and when the opertunity arises draw from our farm. I would'nt be supprised if Brandon does'nt sniff the rotation fulltime till after '07 all the while getting better via the bullpen. i know alot of people both here and on WSI are antsy about getting brandon into the rotation, but id rather take 5 vets and let brendan evlove into more of a scot shields role in the bullpen, his time will come but for now he affords us the oppertunity to start a dynasty on the south side in the bullpen. I agree big time with this.

QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 02:05 PM) I'm very happy. Jose is the guy I wanted to keep around for a while, he's going to be one of the best pitchers in the al for at least a few more years. Then he'll retire as a White Sox great and have a statue on the concourse one day. At least I hope so. He's one of my favorite players.

Looked for some(2) and best they gave me was Sec 537 row 9.

QUOTE(Punch and Judy Garland @ Apr 1, 2006 -> 01:57 PM) How old is Blalock? Nobody ever talks about this. He's only 25. He still put up good numbers overall last year and would do the same at a htiters park like ours. He's inexpensive which is more than you will be able to say for Crede soon. He didn't hit lefties last year but it took Eric Chavez a few years to figure out lefties too. Blalock also doesn't hit outside Ameriquest. I'll keep Crede over him, thank you very much.
