  1. HAHA, even DJ said he couldn't believe Bruce actually got that right.
  2. QUOTE(CYGarland @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 01:48 PM) WOW! How was that not a strike? I'm wondering about that one too. Pods got away with that one. Definately a strike.
  3. 0-2. Well that ends the squeeze play.
  4. Is Juan fast enough for a squeez play? Chit, Strike 1 to Pods.
  5. C'mon scotty. A deep flyout or something. We need to get this run in. GET TO DA CHOPPA!
  6. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 01:05 PM) If Chacon and Small are really as good as their numbers would indicate, the Yankees will make the playoffs. Exactly.
  7. QUOTE(Ishmookie @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:55 PM) i honestly feel bad for the pitchers. it's starting to get to that point. Me too.
  8. I have a bad feeling about this game.
  9. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:50 PM) Anyone can say what they want but if you are going to beat the Angels, A's or Red Sox in the postseason, nevermind the Cardinals or whoever in the NL, you are going to have to score more than 2 or 3 runs a game. Yep. The Dodgers know all about that too.
  10. QUOTE(Steff @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:47 PM) Aaron for president. Hmm, is he a Republican or Democrat?
  11. QUOTE(southsideirish71 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 12:44 PM) The sad thing is if our offense was even par with the middle of the league we would go on a bunch of 10+ game win streaks with this pitching staff. I agree strongly. We probably would've clinched by now with a middle of pack offense.
  12. I thought the whole idea of smartball was to score those runs that get in scoring position. Not just this game, but all year we haven't done that. This is a bulls*** weak offense that would get killed in the playoffs.
  13. Pods K's with the bat on his shoulders.
  14. He Gawn!!...I hate this f***ing offense. I don't give a s*** what anyone says. The past 4 years, the offense was better minus a month of baseball. We have corpseball going, so we might as well do it right and get the big boppers back here.
  15. Squeeze play. Go for it. s***, now 0-2. Nevermind. Uribe will prolly K.
  16. QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 11:48 AM) Do you guys think Braves and Angels fans complain as much about their offenses as we do? They have the players that can snap out of it. Call me when we have a Vlad Guerrero or a Andruw Jones on this team. Until then, they have no reason to complain. And Carl with the baserunning blunder.
  17. QUOTE(heirdog @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 11:13 AM) What's Jon Garland doing sitting in the stands during a game? Eh, Looks more like a Keith Foulke to me.
  18. Thank you Carl. Finally, someone learns how to hit the ball.
  19. Our hitting is flat out pathetic. What happened to all that smallball BS? It's obviously not working.
  20. I like the precision passing, but the QB vision takes time to get used to. The best thing to do is look at all receivers by holding down the R2 button(once the ball is already play) and press your receeivers buttons to look at each one of them. The cone switches fast to those players and it's easier to do checkdowns that way.
  21. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Aug 10, 2005 -> 10:43 AM) Bruce interviewed griffey. He didnt sound opposed to the idea of coming to Chicago at ALL. SO LETS GO f***ING GET GRIFFEY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIT R DONE K-DUB!
