  1. Whatever you do, let your personality just fly after initiating the conversation. If she's turned off, you'll end up having to act fake for her. If she likes you, you're as good as golden. Always be confident about the person you are, add a little of cockyness, but always remain respectful and fun.
  2. The easiest way I've found is to talk about borrowing notes to start it off. I've always done this and have never walked away with less than an email address to chat on later.
  3. QUOTE (G&T @ Mar 1, 2010 -> 02:18 PM) What is this? Your Age / 2 = X X + 7 = Y Y = If the girl is suitable to date. Also works vice versa. Basically if the person you're dating is less than Y in terms of age, then it's going to be awkward, not work out and not worth it because you will have too few things in common. If you're the younger person and your age is less than y, you guys shouldn't date still.
  4. QUOTE (knightni @ Mar 1, 2010 -> 12:44 PM) SD is letting Sproles go too. Who's their running back in '10? Thomas Jones
  5. I actually kind of like it.
  6. 20/2 = 10 10 + 7 = 17 17 > 16. That mean's she's a no go. Maybe in a year or two Crypt.
  7. Yeah it's the internal clock. People who upgraded their hard drive from what I've heard aren't having any problems so far. Basically, if you're is messed up, any games that require trophies will not play. Someone told me a work around until it does get fixed is to go to settings, disable internet and adjust the date and time. Once you do, you can play offline
  8. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Feb 28, 2010 -> 07:55 PM) I figure I should clarify this a bit. Talking about the same girl originally, I've taken the advice to some extent, but I've still been hanging out with her quite a bit, and everything was going great. It felt like we were moving in the right direction and everything was going swimmingly, and it felt like we were back together. Then on Thursday, she drops this "I like being single and being able to flirt" line, and I got pissed. So I basically just followed this other girl home, and we talked for a while, and then started making out. Called her up last night again after the original girl was ignoring me, and we made out, some clothes came off, and we did basically everything other than f***. I'm OK with moving on, but I just did it poorly, and I feel terrible about it. I don't even care about this girl, and I care so much about the other. I'm stuck in this idealistic romantic mindset that me and the original girl will get everything worked out, we'll get hitched and ride into the sunset on a white horse. I was just confused, and now I'm depressed too. This is good. In the meantime, keep this girl who you're making out with, at least on the side. Honestly, it's going to take some time to get the original girl off of your mind. At the same time, she's going to say and do s*** that'll make you say, "Wow, this is how you really are" now that you are outside of the relationship zone with this girl. You may think you love her and she just needs time to see that she loves you. It ain't going to work that way though. She's gonna slut around and come to you when she feels lonely, she's drunk, or she gets rejected until you flat out don't allow it.
  9. If you got an older fat PS3, don't turn on your PS3. Some major s*** is going on causing it to not play any games.
  10. I've heard 2k's been getting pretty darn good reviews. Last year I didn't buy a baseball game because I don't like the button pushing for pitches/batting. That's one feature that 2k did do right in 2k8. They shortened it though which kind of made me mad. Either way, it makes pitching challenging. Plus now, 2k is giving away a million dollars to whoever can throw a perfect game on the hardest difficulty level first. You can't adjust the rosters or edit players though. I'm going to play both and see which one is better. I really really want to play The Road to The Show as a catcher though.
  11. Lower Merion is where Kobe went to school. Kinda crazy.
  12. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 07:44 PM) If they could take the Sears Center and dump it over by that industrial area that is for sale near the Clybourn Metra stop, it would be the perfect venue for DePaul basketball. Where it is, makes no sense. Its actually a real nice small arena. Is that in Lincoln Park where that industrial company was until they decided to move I think more south? I read they were thinking about making a stadium there, but parking would be tight and there's only one way in and out. It would be beaufitful off the river though.
  13. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 23, 2010 -> 06:04 PM) Right, the Bears will draw wherever they would be located most likey, but I also think they are the least likely to move out of the city. They are by far the most popular team in Chicago, and are more symbolic of the city than any other teams here. They would never let them leave. Quoted For Truth. Cubs also won't leave, but it's because they actually do need Wrigleyville.
  14. If it's between him and Hudson, I want Hudson to get the long spot much like the development of Haren, Santana and Buehrle. I'm a huge Daniel Cabrera fan, but I know Coop's philosophy with him would be to take a few ticks off the fastball for control.
  15. Yea, I think it would be better for HBO. Either way, I'm still watching!
  16. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Feb 18, 2010 -> 07:06 PM) According to CSN they are projecting a cap next year of $53.6 million, and the Bulls to have $21.7 million to spend under it. http://www.csnchicago.com/02/18/10/Forman-...&feedID=661 I'm guessing that's before cap holds. If the Bulls out of nowhere go over the cap(which I doubt), they'll sign the FA first, then sign their picks. It's really hard to project though considering we don't know where the Bulls will pick. Right now, according to NBAdraft.net, we're projected at 15 with Xavier Henry. I would be thrilled as you could then sign Bosh, Boozer or Amare and have a somewhat balanced roster.
  17. I'm not reading through 60 something pages since it last was since I posted. What has transpired?
  18. Aj playing golf with Damon ain't going to help us. The whole world hates AJ!
  19. I put 0% as well. I think he's just leveraging the White Sox.
  20. QUOTE (Brian @ Feb 16, 2010 -> 06:36 PM) I'm not interested in trading Noah. Especially when we could sign Bosh in the offseason. You gotta trade something to get something. You would own Bosh's bird rights, you get rid of Deng's salary in the process clearing the way for another max FA and you don't have to worry down the road paying 4 major guys as soon as 2011/2012. PG-Rose SG-Wade/Johnson SF-Who cares? PF-Bosh C-Asik You have three star players and could fill in the rest with draft picks and vets. Let's face it, the Bulls aren't going to pay Noah, Rose, Deng, and then another superstar.
  21. Rumorpress.net reporting that Deng + Noah for Bosh is being discussed. Bulls must really believe in Omer Asik. I'd like the deal alot.
  22. It sounds pretty dumb to fire DePaul if he really was involved in getting good players to the Bears.
  23. QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Feb 12, 2010 -> 06:57 PM) Hmm, isn't Harrington a good 3pt shooter? Theoretically, I'd see them using the Bird Rule to keep Noah. Asik looks good on YouTube, kinda like a European Tyrus. If you have Rose-Wade-Deng-Bosh-Noah, you could steamroll any team in the league. I personally disagree with the lineup being able to steamroll any team in the league simply because there is no outside shooting present on that squad. Oh yeah, I think it's more likely Bosh stays. He stated he loves being the man and he's giving indication that he wants to be the building block in Toronto.
