  1. I'm with you guys. It's a poorly constructed idea. Plus, especially to those of you guys who wear contacts or glasses, wouldn't it be a strain to put on a pair of 3D glasses after coming home exhausted so you can watch a movie while you sleep or some sports? Anything that I have to wear is too much effort. When I come home, I don't want that eye strain, nor go through the hassle of looking for the shades(or having to buy them for others) to watch some damn tv. Imagine having a Super Bowl party in 3D. You're going to have to pay thousands of dollars so you can have a party of 10 over. F that.
  2. Bulls won't give up Noah to the Rockets unless they're getting someone like Scola back with T-Mac because the Bulls won't even deal Noah as a dealbreaker for Bosh which is pretty dumb. And I'm not even a huge Bosh fan at all. Then again, according a ton of sources, Wade is target 1a, and Joe Johnson is 1b.
  3. Wow, I actually wanted Kiffin to build up Tennessee. I love his loudmouthing arrogant ways. In the Pac-10, it won't mean much because their's garbage there for the most part. In the SEC, it means alot as it's the best conference in college football.
  4. QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jan 12, 2010 -> 05:05 PM) If I'm USC I'm going after Butch Davis As would I. Or Zookers!
  5. QUOTE (WhiteSoxfan1986 @ Jan 11, 2010 -> 06:57 PM) DePaul should hire Billy Gillispie or should've tried to lure La-toe back. Honestly, they were made for each other as he could sell athletes on everything he had to offer as well as a big city. At Virginia he wasn't able to do any of that really.
  6. If he doesn't get in(Bonds), you are setting a precedent that A-Rod also cannot gain access to the HOF.
  7. QUOTE (BearSox @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 11:25 PM) Oh, so because my opinion is different than yours im "f***ing retarded." Im sure you know exactly what was going on in Colt's mind at that moment, and IM sure you were in the locker room when everyone was discussing the matter at hand. I never once acted like I knew for a fact McCoy sat out because of the NFL draft. However, in my opinion, hell yeah it played it a huge factor in his decision. It was HIS decision, not anyone else's, and HE chose to sit out. I'd like you to sleep on your dominant arm tonight. When you wake up, before you go piss, I want you to take a football or baseball, and attempt to throw it straight and accurately past 7 yards. No warm up throws, just flat out throwing it. If anything, Colt's status would've skyrocketed if he came back into the game to lead them to the national championship.
  8. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 03:07 PM) This is the one situation where the Rooney Rule is just kinda annoying. I know why its there, but come on, they fired their coach specifically so they could hire this guy. Even if they do the interview, the interview itself is just a joke. Agreed. But apparently, Leslie Frazier went through with the interview. They were in hour 5 around 1:45pm.
  9. QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Jan 9, 2010 -> 03:32 PM) None of these kids know what a "commitment" is. I can't really blame these kids though. They're on top of the world right now getting all the attention they could ever want. Pretty much!
  10. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 07:31 PM) Tomorrow is D-Day for Shariff Floyd, please pick the buckeyes. He chose Florida. Wow
  11. QUOTE (FlaSoxxJim @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 11:28 PM) Housing slump or not, $300K won't get you into anything worth inhabiting in Beverly. Totally depressng to know I'll never in my life be able to afford a house in the neighborhood I grew up in. Eh, I don't know about that. The house my mom bought in 2001 went for $175,000 and it's pretty big, has a huge lot(which sucks cutting the grass takes about 2 or 3 hours) and has trees and bushes galore. All the rooms are spacious(can fit two Queen size beds in each room and the master can fit probably like 5 or 6), it has a basement as well. Couple of downfalls though were one pink bathroom, roof needed to be redone, and the same with electrical.
  12. QUOTE (SockMe @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 07:51 PM) Bosh to Chi-Town? http://dimemag.com/2010/01/nba-trade-rumor...h-to-the-bulls/ It's yesterday's news and to me it sounds alot more like speculation and wishful thinking. The Houston one has more legs to it IMO because Bosh is from Texas, fits the Chris Webber role in Adelman's offense very nicely, and they have a lot of good parts(not great) that they can give up.
  13. QUOTE (goblue5699 @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 07:05 PM) I was in a sociology class with Trulon Henry at COD, he's an interesting dude. Good way or bad way. The only question that matters though is, "CAN HE PLAY?!"
  14. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 06:16 PM) Or the south east side of Chicago. Hegewisch?
  15. Yeah, it's pretty poor for people to be calling out Colt. I wasn't his biggest fan, but clearly, if you can't throw a 7 yard pass, you're not going to make it. I applaud him for doing his darnest to get Gilbert ready for the 2nd half. He had confidence in Garrett when Garrett didn't have any. It was a great game and both QB's did all they could. I wanted Alabama to win before the game started, but I kind of wish it was given to Texas after the fact. I also think the injury is much more major than what Colt is letting on. He said it didn't hurt, just felt numb. His coaches and almost everyone at Texas didn't want him to play so he didn't hurt his draft status. They were even saying this on the telecast. I would feel the same as Colt. He worked 4 hard years for that game and it was ripped away like Tonya Harding hitting Nancy Kerrigan with a lead pipe.
  16. He'll fail because of the roster and then return to college in a few years. I say over/under is at 2 years.
  17. QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Jan 8, 2010 -> 01:25 PM) Jim Mora... HE GONE! Yeah, he got a raw deal. That team should be rebuilding, but instead they're trying to patch up their team to make it seem like they're contenders.
  18. Jennings actually had that hairstyle in high school. I think he had it for the McDonald's All American game as well his senior season. I like it actually.
  19. QUOTE (fathom @ Jan 7, 2010 -> 10:48 AM) Cameron Dollar, former assistant for Lorenzo Romar, is their head coach. No doubt in my mind that he'll be a superstar coach in college basketball in 5 years. He's got tons of connections, both good and bad if you know what I mean. Yep. And that kid you are talking about is actually comparable to Lamar Odom, but he's much more agressive. Only reason he is that low is because he goes to Seattle.
  20. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Jan 7, 2010 -> 04:54 PM) I just don't get what all the big fuss about what Arenas did, they were unloaded weapons...what Crittenton did was actually much worse. I agree. Bringing guns in the first place was dumb, but not really all that bad. And the picture, I don't get what's so bad about that in the huddle in pregame warmups. The way he deals with things is by joking around. He always has. With that said, this has been a sucky year for him. First his fiance/wife is cheating on him with Shaq, and now this. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jan 7, 2010 -> 05:00 PM) If nothing else he directly violated the NBA rules by having a firearm at an NBA facility. A suspension was fully appropriate. Yeah, but taking away his whole paycheck isn't. It says in there, the fine cannot exceed $150,000.00
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 7, 2010 -> 05:09 PM) Problem is that it is funded by the park district, which would never front the money for field turf. Yep, the Bears would have to pay for it if they wanted it which they never ever will because they're the Bears.
  22. Mariners in the AL because of Ken Griffey Jr back in the day. Cincy Reds in the NL because of Ken Griffey Jr. I genuinely like both teams though and do follow their farm systems and such as much as I do the White Sox. Let it be known though, I'll always love the White Sox over any other team.
  23. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 09:48 PM) Sure looks like he's gonna recommit to Florida, which sucks. If Tennessee couldn't nab him, I sure as heck didn't want Florida to get him. But Brandon Willis is doing the same thing with Tennessee. He decommitted last week after being committed since Sept. and it now looks like he very well might recommit to UT at the Army All-American game. He seemed like a Tennessee player to me. I was hoping he would end up there. Hopefully they at least nab Willis. QUOTE (chimpy2121 @ Jan 6, 2010 -> 09:54 PM) Urban Meyer at his best. I hope Elam goes there and Meyer is gone within the year. In the end this feels like one big staged thing. As do I. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jan 7, 2010 -> 08:13 AM) A ** JUCO recruit usually isnt too good, and I have no idea how good of football they play at COD. Supossedly a few other BCS programs like Oregon St. & Indiana showed interest, and if he is anywhere near as athletic as his brother, he'll have a chance to compete. Guess we'll find out, but I think it was probably more of a favor for his brother. If he can stay with it and get a degree from U of I, then good for him If he gets a degree, that would be the best case scenario from what it seems. It'll be a big turn around for him.
