  1. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 4, 2010 -> 07:59 PM) Shane would be disowned But you know it would be great for TNA's business. This video montage of Bret Hart is awesome though. I'm going to be rewinding for both of them during commercial breaks.
  2. It sounds electric. Wouldn't it be great if instead of Bischoff coming out to be Hogan's guest, it is Shane O'Mac? That would definitely put them on the map IMO.
  3. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 4, 2010 -> 07:48 PM) retarded ECW comment! Retarded ROH fanboy comment.
  4. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Jan 4, 2010 -> 07:45 PM) Retarded TNA comment? lol Retarded WCW comment!
  5. As a show, I know I'll enjoy TNA more, but as soon as Bret Hart shows up, I'm switching over. Everything else on WWE will be boring, especially compared to TNA. That's a fact. I'm like others, I haven't been this excited about wrestling since I was in 8th grade.
  6. I'm actually interested. I think TNA is slowly building up storylines instead of blowing their whole wad tonight. They did drop the ball on the first match, but the women's match was way better than any WWE Divas match and half of the men's matches.
  7. So far, with both of tonight's shows, it should be a hell of a decade.
  8. I've heard this is just speculation. The Sun Times just got this from MikeJonesSports. Miami, which is the other team mentioned is more likely.
  9. QUOTE (elrockinMT @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 03:43 PM) Why are folks so anti--Sox veterans? Generic production from Konerko? I have to disagree. And Peavy does have to show us what he has and do it for a full year. I think he can, but we need to see it It was slightly above average production from the 1B spot at best. I agree on the Peavy thing a little bit.
  10. Wow at DeMarcus Cousins throwing an elbow to someone's head when that player was already on the ground and then only getting a personal "Unsportsmanlike conduct" foul. He should've at least been ejected.
  11. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Jan 2, 2010 -> 01:09 PM) Because its not like 99% of serious injuries happen in a game or something... I don't think 99% of it happens in games.
  12. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Dec 31, 2009 -> 04:08 PM) I know it is the easy thing to say about the Colts, but the other side of the story is if Peyton Manning blows out his knee in a meaningless game, the coach would be strung up. I know the odds are slim of that happening, but what were the odds of Brian Urlacher sustaining a season ending injury in the first half of the first game of this year? Stuff happens. Football is a violent game full of contact and injuries. He wouldn't get hurt in practice? I think when you play things too cautiously is when you start hurting yourself.
  13. QUOTE (Jenks Heat @ Jan 1, 2010 -> 09:36 AM) I think Peyton Manning earned an opportunity to assist in making the decision and it appears he did not. My thoughts exactly. He looked pissed!
  14. There is no legit excuse. I'm not even sure Pac has a case against Golden Boy Promotions, PBF or his father. With the exception of his father, they have all questioned why he won't do it and speculating, but they haven't flat out said, "Pacman is doing steroids or other PED's" in which the court of law would dismiss the case, especially considering he won't go through Olympic testing. They're more so saying including Oscar, "Well, it makes you wonder considering he is 100 percent opposed to going through such testing". I think his father may have said it flat out that he thinks he's doing PED's. Regardless, his case is not strong enough especially if any of the parties involve ask why he isn't suing Paul Maglignani(sp?) who has accused PacMan of the same thing, but Pacman will still fight him. I'll be too upset if this fight doesn't get done and it will all be aimed at Pacman.
  15. I didn't see it posted, but Blackshear has chosen Louisville. He's saying him and Mike Shaw probably will no longer be a package deal anymore.
  16. Too much yardage to go for the Saints. I think it's over, especially with only 12 seconds and no timeouts.
  17. QUOTE (DBAHO @ Dec 17, 2009 -> 08:30 PM) Possibly, but if you had kept Gordon, I don't think you'd have the cap room to sign Bosh to make FA deal. That's unless you could trade Hinrich, but his value would be so low right now (should have traded him to Portland in the off-season). Still think Bosh joins Wade in Miami this off-season FWIW. If they had signed Gordon to the deal that he wanted to take last year, and they traded Hinrich(they had 3 chances to do so for expirings since last year), the Bulls would be plenty close. Instead, they need to hope Salmons opts out, still need to trade Hinrich or Deng, and then hope two of Bosh, Wade, Lebron and Joe Johnson want to come. The front office screwed this team. Not Vinny.
  18. According to Scott Merkin, as reported earlier, it seems like Ozzie talked KW out of adding a power bat and they will rotate the DH. I'm pretty sure KW is just waiting for this to blow up in Ozzie's face and then will add a DH midseason. So anyone with the know, who did they plan on adding? My guess would be Milton Bradley.
  19. QUOTE (dasox24 @ Dec 13, 2009 -> 05:50 PM) Did he actually call the plays at Arkansas or did Bobby? Either way it's a good hire, but if Paul was running the offense like a true OC, then this is a great hire for Illinois. However, offense wasn't nearly as much of a problem as defense this year, so it'll be really important for Zook to fill that DC spot with someone legit. Yeah it was.
  20. All in all, it means nothing. Pretty much everyone is jumping ship to the other side, so it just means, buy the Tribune if you have liked past Sun-Times columns, and vice versa. What's next? Telander moves?
