many issues pop into my head when i heard of this trade: 1. what happens to jose vidro, does he go to short, or is soriano gonna play outfield allowing vidro and guzman to play infield 2. why trade for no pitching 3. they trust marlon byrd, i wouldnt, their outfield just got worse

thats good for carl, hes going to my second favorite team in the mariners, good for him, he should hit well there, and get more playing time, id imagine he bats primarily lefty

id be interested in the mariners position

i dont think playing in a dome would help castillo, if he layed down a bunt the ball would roll faster and farther, i really dont see how hed help, he would give better fielding but they already have good fielding and speed, i dont get the move
