And then someone hit him with a pass while he was wide open and he dropped it.

On Jonathon Brandmeier's show this morning he played a clip of Rick Sutcliffe in the booth with Len Kaspar and Bob Brenly and they cut him pretty quick because he sounded sloshed. He then played Sut singing Take Me Out to the Ballgame and he was slurring all over. Has anyone else heard this? How come there's not the attention like when he was in the booth in San Diego last month?

I like their show, but Mac hasn't been the same since they split him and Terry Boers up. As much as I think it's funny, Mac and Jurko basically bully Harry all show. And I hate Harry, so I can't believe I actually defend him in this.

I thought it was just OK. There were no memorable lines like in episodes past.

Larmer over to Savard, passes to Secord, he shoots, he scores! According to the Trib, page two of the article, Pat Foley exploring options such as announcing baseball. As much as I hate Farmio, sitting Foley in the play-by-play both would be awesome.

Pretty soon Santo will be up and about standing on his own two feet. Santo's argument was so wrong he didn't have a leg to stand on. Ron Santo was kicking himself all the way home. I once complained I had no shoes, until I met a man that had no feet, then I said, Ohhhhhhhhhhhh noooooooooo!

Chicago radio died the day they split up the Score personalities. North and Jiggets followed by McNeil and Boers were the best. The transition between those shows was priceless. McNeil acted like a 300-lbs baby after that because the Score took Mike North's side vs. his. And North became even more of a primadonna after that. The Monsters of the Mid-day followed by the Heavy Fuel Crew was the high time in Chicago radio.

I come from Huntley and while this can make for a little longer commute, I prefer it. I-90, get off at Fullerton. Park for free around DePaul and take the Redline to the game.

This season was like watching a reality show observing a family, not a television show. I was so bored Sunday, I was mad there were commercials I could FF through to move it along.

Technically, the Tiger stories are Sox stories since that is the big series playing right now.

Part of what comes with that is knowing we have a talented team and can weather the storms of a long season. Our players know this as well, especially after nearly choking it all away last year. Actually, that near collapse may hurt us this year. When we go into a long tailspin, our players will continually think we can pull out of it again. When you are a champion, you know it's a long season and you don't get too freaked out by a bad road trip. In any case, I hope they turn it around soon, because I just don't have the confidence in this team like I did last year. Something is missing. I just don't know what.

Please let's start b****ing about attendance next. Let's give this up. Who cares?

This place was featured on Check Please! on Channel 11 last year. You know Check Please, that show that they only tape 3 epsiodes all year and the panelists think that heading anywhere in the suburbs is like a trek out to Siberia.

Wirtz and Pulford - still going strong I used to love the Hawks. For a while I was getting tired trying to explain why I loved them. A few years ago, I gave up defending. Now, I have given up on them entirely. This past year I knew of Khababulin and that's it. And he sucked for the Hawks as well. What a shame when this once great and proud francise closes shop and goes out of business. F U Bill Wirtz.
