The Blob was the best. With the different faces he would put on the clay.

An no one sees the dad as the bad guy. Jack's sister-in-law. ex lover doesn't think to tell Jack what she knows. Please.

2008 Presidential Announcement Thread.

QUOTE(Rex Kicka** @ Feb 7, 2007 -> 09:46 AM) Al Franken is a way better candidate than Michael Savage. Al Franken at least was funny once. Stuart Smalley was not funny. JMO -
QUOTE(Soxy @ Feb 8, 2007 -> 09:31 AM) I thought his cousin was the boring guy after him that ended up making it to Hollywood? Or did he get dropped from Hollywood? He was cut because of a pot bust a few years ago. I heard this on the radio this morning.

Uribe will report late to Spring Training
retro1983hat replied to Balta1701's topic in Pale Hose Talk
Uribe's real crime is pitch selection. -
Gina Glocksen of Naperville made it to Hollywood again. She is the lead singer of local girl group Catfight. I saw them at the Cubby Bear North. They're pretty good.

QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Feb 7, 2007 -> 12:00 PM) No, you just don't appreciate a SS that can hit the ball past the pitcher, and you apparently don't appreciate gold glove defense at SS as well. Did I miss Juan Uribe's Gold Glove presentation? Must have been on the same day he was near that murder. Anyways, yes, I don't appreciate guys like A-Rod, Jeter, Tejada. They never hit the ball past the pitcher. Of course Uribe actually has to make contact to get it past the pitcher.

Cubs and Red Sox (until they won the WS) are always big bets in Vegas. Every dumb Cub fan wants to have the winning ticket if it ever happens. Means nothing. The Cubs could go 0-162 this year and next year their odds would still be one of the 10 best next year.

Tonight finally ends the audition portion of the show. I do laugh at everyone that tries to go through the wrong door. I don't know why, it's so dumb, but I crack up anyways. I liked the guy who was told no and then said he is going to make a big scene for the cameras and started yelling at the judges.
-
I laughed about 90% of the time last year. I thought it was great. The only ones I thought were dumb were the ones where he combined the Tigers and the Lions.
-
Who is going to play SS? Juan Uribe should not be our starting SS. He failed at the plate last year.

QUOTE(Jimbo @ Feb 6, 2007 -> 09:58 AM) Who is the actor? See his IMDB: http://imdb.com/name/nm0005204/

Great episode last night. YEs, I think Jack's dad being evil was no real surprise. The guy who plays Jack's brother is great at being a whiny, sniveling jerk. He did the same on ER.

Two more days until I can have absolutely no clue what the hell is going on. I do like the show, but I hate it all at the same time.

Letterman and Oprah was best. However, I missed several commercials and parts of the game because the power went out at the party I was at.

OK, back on topic. I thought last night's in LA was pretty good, however, Ryan Dorkcrest said 40 people made it out of the LA round to go to Hollywood. LAst night, they only showed 3 of the people who made it through. I am ready for the freakshow to end and the Hollywood rounds to start.
-
Last night was in Birmingham. Another round of bad singers and losers. Although Paula couldn't sit still. Then surprise, for day two, she had a "family commitment." Let's get on to the Hollywood rounds. This is the third week of these morons. Usually that's the end of the inane auditions, but there is yet another week next week.

What about sticking up a sticker that says: Tank Johnson is a moron.

I liked it, but this season is definitely more dramatic than action. Will be interesting to see where this all goes. Karen Hays will be off for a few weeks as her plane flies her to LA CTU now that she's resigned. Peter McNichol and Chad Lowe .... these guys should be on a Lifetime movie, not 24.

How would you like to be the dad who got ragged on by his runaway daughter last night? Had she not made it to Hollywood, her story seems like an epside on Without a Trace, where young girl from Midwest runs away to NY to make it in show business.

QUOTE(PHAT ALBERT @ Jan 24, 2007 -> 09:47 PM) Thanks for the summary. They said on Interactive that Mike North was on with him too. Had to be brutal to sit through that. Mike North, while annoying sometimes, went from a regular fan to a millionaire on sports radio and probably considered one of the top sports talkers in the country. The hating on him gets a little tired on this board sometimes.

Last night's epsidoe was from Memphis. No real freaks or great singers other than the big hairy guy who sang the blues. The next two episodes are in New York and LA. That should bring out the crazies.

Blue Tooth Man played that Smarmy Doctor on ER. I loved him on that show and he has that same smarmy attitude. My favorite was when Jack and his wife had a cold exchange and he said, " that went well." Also, how long before they reveal that the blond kid is actually Jack's son?

Thanks. I may just buy a few tonight.
