Last night was Philadelphia. They kept the crazy factor to a minimum. The crazy girl who flicked off the cameras and Princess Leia were the only real nutjobs other than the guy who shaved his chest, but he only wanted to get on TV. The girl from Chicago seems to have a shot.

Yes, KW was the architect responsible for the giant fall our team has had since the ASB 2006. He deserves credit for 2005, but also blame for 2006, 2007 and our last-place 2008 finish.

Please no one say it's still early. Who is still out there? KW has f'd this thing up royally. How many years in mid-April when the Sox were in the midst of a losing streak did I hear it's early? Or mid-May, or mid-June. Every day matters. KW has some serious explaining to do. We're out of the race in December. KW should be embarassed.

72 wins in 2007 means that KW and the entire team did not do their job well last year. They get paid millions of $$$ to play a game. Part of getting that money means the scrutiny comes with it. I don't want a bunch of hard-working, tough, grinder, passionate, Chicago guys. I want a good baseball team. There is no trophy for the team with the best effort. We were a bad, bad team last year. The only positive for me was Bobby Jenks. Every team except the Boston Red Sox needs to look at last year as a failure. The White Sox need to look at it as an embarrassment.

Last time I checked, it's not my checkbook. The team should get every player that can make the team better. Finances are their problem, not mine.

I just got a Sony Walkman MP3 and video player. I don't think iTunes works on this player. Does it? Also, what are other good sites to get video from and how do you transfer it to the player? I have only had a music only MP3 player previous to this one and I was hoping to download some tv shows (hopefully free) to it so I could watch while working out. Am I trying to do something that is not possible? I know, I am a bit out of touch with modern technology. And please, don't tell me to get an iPod. This is what I have and need help on.

Why do I feel that half the team will be on the DL during the season.

JR was and still is a Blackhawk. As much of a pain in the ass he could be, he really was a good spokesperson for the team. On any given night, you might even see JR out on Division Street. My family used to have season tickets to the Hawks and as many immenities the UC has, there was nothing that compared to the old Stadium. That place was meant for hockey. I watched last night's game and for the first time in about 10 years, I was excited by the team. I even watched the last two minutes while standing in my family room. I just didn't want them to blow it at the end and ruin a perfect first TV night. Good luck to the Hawks, I will be watching more as the season progresses. (On a side note, they can not choke during the circus trip. They need to keep above water on the trip.)

Ahh yes. Let's not pay the people that are teaching kids more money. Makes sense. Nearly every 211 teacher has a Master's Degree. Compare that with an Engineer who has been in their field for 20 years with a Master's Degree. I am sure they all make good money. I find it interesting that when people see what someone makes, they judge it by their own salary. Like how can anyone make more than me. They are just teachers. Imagine someone with knowledge in a specific subject, running an all seminar for adults in calculus, science, etc ...... They would make $100 an hour. Teachers deserve whatever they can get. Their job is far more important than some sales rep or auto worker. JMO. And, no, I am not a teacher.

Please, please, please ..... stop saying it's early. In 2007, coming out of a horrible ST, Sox fans said, "it's early" When we got off to a horrible start, Sox fans said, "it's early" When we were swept by the Cubs, Sox fans said, "it's early" The off season started for the Sox in May last year. It is not early. I know there is still 3 months until ST, but the Sox deserve no relief of pressure from Sox fans this year. Every day, KW needs to be asked, "What have you done today to win the World Series in 2008?" Anything short of that is a FAILURE!!!!

Vegas would work for about half of their home games depending which league they are in. The reason: Many road teams' fans would flood there. If in the AL -- Sox, Yankee, Red Sox fans would go on their road trips to fill the part. If in NL -- Cubs, Cards and Dodger fans would also draw well. But other than those road trips, I can't see other fans making the trip.
