  1. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Apr 25, 2016 -> 09:36 AM) I just love Hawk's emotion. As I have stated before, he does give it to the umpires too much, but he is great especially with wins. Yes, he doesn't see as well as he used to, but if I am smart enough to know he didn't see something correctly, I am also smart enough to really not need someone telling me a ball is hit to the shortstop when I can see it on the screen. I like Jason. I think he is fine and will be fine, but his is a different type of broadcast. People hate Joe Buck. I like Joe Buck. His is a "professional" broadcast. IMO, they call baseball games very much the same. He is very Joe Buck. Even the 'big moments" with Hawk just haven't been packing the punch for me lately. You can tell it's a physical restraint too. The HR calls take so long to get into, and you can feel him using his like whole body to get the Yes out. I am ready for the change, but loved Hawk for many years. He gave us thing that fans from out of town knew about regarding the Sox. But what I'm listening to now just is not the same. A home run is hit and 4 seconds after it hits the crowd he's revving up for it.
  2. I think best case and most realistic scenario for the bears involves 3 QBs, RB, and 2 OTs taken in top ten. But, if lynch does not go top ten perhaps bears become the pivot point to trade down for others to grab him.
  3. So - are we moving to a place where Dorn allies with Tyrell to battle the Lannisters? Anxious to hear what House Tyrell has been doing since they threw the Queen into jail.
  4. This is going to be a fun draft. Really unsettled starting at pick 3. I wonder if we will hear of a deal being done with Rams and a QB before the pick or if we will have no idea who is first.
  5. Yeah but could you look up tweets referencing the white sox online? Didn't think so
  6. QUOTE (oldsox @ Apr 24, 2016 -> 08:49 PM) Binetti spends too much time trying to be cute. Just call the game. Why does he keep talking to Stone about the heater in the booth? Not funny. Just call the game and let it come to you. Yeah! He should be talking about each players golf game like a real announcer!
  7. I think it's mostly gains from Eaton but, they also just aren't doing the very stupid plays that we could bank on every game last year. It seemed like we were averaging 3 errors a game in April/May last year
  8. Yes Lawries turns on double plays have been stellar
  9. Really impressed with our bullpen. This no days off stretch has been BRUTAL and they have been nails.
  10. Sweep sweep victory
  11. Let's just sit back and admire that play from a future hall of famer
  12. I fought the Lawrie the Lawrie won
  13. 2 down. It's down to Melky
  14. Would like a solo Abreu homer
  15. Get him here. Come on Nate!
  16. In case we forgot how terrible Tom Delay was he wrote s classic defense of hastert saying he didn't deserve the treatment he was getting.
  17. QUOTE (soxfan49 @ Apr 24, 2016 -> 03:32 PM) A suicide squeeze would have been cool there On a force out at home?
  18. That was a tough matchup for Eaton. Wish he would have just Kd
