QUOTE (mr_genius @ Jun 5, 2011 -> 03:30 PM) na, just ramp up voter suppression (ID required, ect) and the citizens won't be able to vote. if that fails, mid-decade redistrict. edited.

QUOTE (maggsmaggs @ Jun 3, 2011 -> 08:00 PM) Yeah I don't mind that, what I mind is that he has the chutzpah to claim Van Gundy is betting on the series because he has inside info from the league office on who will win. I think that was more promoting his website.

well Bosh is ugly so I won't ever like him.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 2, 2011 -> 05:26 PM) You're operating under the assumption that he's even the same player he was last he was here. He's been awful as a Piston. Is that coaching, system, bad teammates? Who knows. But at that price, you want somebody that can put you over the top. And that's just not Ben Gordon. Yeah, I am assuming a bounce back which isn't smart. But I wouldn't mind a player like BG over Korver's role. Korver can and should should lights out, but he can only hit baskets pretty wide open and can't put the ball down.

QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jun 2, 2011 -> 05:19 PM) So basically a black Kyle Korver with a little more explosive scoring ability at over $35 million dollars through 2014? No thanks. I agree that gordon at that price is not a good fit. But, it's not the "more explosive scoring ability" by itself. Kyle Korver can't dribble, and panics when people play up on him. At least gordon can put the ball down, and even drive. He is a much better all around offensive player.

does anyone know what those things are called that you cook the coals in, and then you flip it over and they are all well lit. I wrote that into a search engine and couldn't find anything. I also put "coal cooker" and it gave me searches for grills.

My advice is it may be best to start with a vegetarian diet. My second advice is DONT SEEK MEAT SUBSITUTES. Tofu stirfry is one thing, but immediately on trying vegetarianism, my friends would try tofu burgers and it would turn them off. Look toward indian cuisine. Use Eggplant and lentils. Rice, beans, peppers, and lime are your friends. I've just seen that the quickest way to failure is typically the "What's the vegetarian answer for a burger" even though black bean burgers are pretty dope. But you could also start small by trying pescatarianism.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 26, 2011 -> 07:45 PM) They already sell protective sleeves to put your cards with the Fast Tap technology in so people can't remotely steal the information. What's the odds of getting your phone hacked? The fact that this is fairly routine in Japan leaves me hopeful this is something that can be overcome.

http://www.nytimes.com/2011/05/27/nyregion...-rape.html?_r=1 I think it's fair to say these officers should still be relieved of their duties.

QUOTE (StrangeSox @ May 24, 2011 -> 08:46 PM) bad comparison, an e-reader isn't a tablet and a tablet isn't an e-reader. Different markets for different purposes. I went with the nook because it allowed me to read open-source books, like stuff off of project gutenberg and borrowed library books. The Kindle doesn't (or at least didn't). But their "ereader" is a lot more expensive than the kindle, but they justify it with more features. "Editor's Choice" –CNET, 11/23/2010 Stunning full color touchscreen Enhanced books, magazines, newspapers, & interactive kids books Fun social features + surf the web NEW! i don't get the nook for the price. It's like they are going halfway b/w kindel and ipad.

I don't, really. Last game a lot of things on paper were okay: james + wade in check, boozer scored, bogans with +6 pts, and we weren't even close to winning the game. We won't be able to overcome the heat if they get to the line 30+ times, and they weren't even driving and were getting that many calls. I don't think the bulls can overcome that.

yeah, fox gets such a bad wrap, don't they ss2k5?

QUOTE (Y2HH @ May 23, 2011 -> 07:48 PM) They weren't even a job search site until like 9 months ago. That is all. But it has value in job searching beside just looking for job openings.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ May 23, 2011 -> 06:41 PM) it's the last place I'd go. It's the last place you'd go? I know you climb hyperbole mountain all the time, but linked in was actually a great resource for job searching and people DO recruit from there.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ May 23, 2011 -> 03:52 PM) It's truly amazing how much travelling is allowed in the NBA. The Bulls do it sometimes too, but no one does it as much as LBJ & Wade. There was one play where James took a step, made a jump stop, landed on two feet, and then took two more steps towards the hoop. If that's not travelling , I don't know what is? that drove me nuts. and it lead to 2 pts!

QUOTE (Steve9347 @ May 23, 2011 -> 03:35 PM) I really just want a level playing field. That out of bounds call on Luol Deng was inexcusable. I just can't get over it. Also, on the news this morning they showed 5 baskets that LBJ scored on where he took FIVE STEPS! Five! It's just depressing... on a level playing field, the Bulls are up 2-1 at worst. Anyway, I hate being that guy, but it's f***ing true. I don't like being the blame the refs guy either, but this is the exact reason i did not want to play the heat. Every time the bulls started to make a run, and get a stop, then an offensive foul call would come against them, miami ball. Then shooting foul aginst the bulls, two free throws for miami. Rose has to get hacked on his hands on the shot, not on the drive, to get a foul called. It sucks, and it's hard to win with that s***.
