QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 4, 2011 -> 05:38 PM) Delivery means alot of things, if you mean actually delivering a package or something, we dont sell stuff like that. We do very complex implementations that are usually well drawn out from a timeline perspective. And my only promise for any question would be to do the best I can, but also to be honest if it wont go the client's way. I may not always be at the same company, but I want my customers to know that they can always trust me as a person. you took it how I meant it. I've had a lot of frustrating fights with our sales team promising things our system is not set up to do, and then putting multiple times the effort into a deal that wasn't even worth much revenue. Drives me nuts. But on the whole we have a great sales staff. -
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 4, 2011 -> 05:36 PM) Is that how we read the Constitution? Yes. I think you brought up those examples to show how ridiculous it was, but if people were not granting equal privelege to those groups they should be forced to. Fat people can't vote? Can't wed? If that was happening it should also be stricken as a law.

and also not to make promises your company can't keep. -
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Jan 3, 2011 -> 03:24 PM) That was kind of the idea. The city was sitting on a lot of forward value, and a private company was able to provide the services. When the city is in financial trouble, they sold it - which makes a lot of sense. I hope they do the same with Midway and other areas where the same plan will work. They city meters deal is basically going towards keeping the city afloat during a terrible recession. I'd hope future deals will use that money wisely too, and fixing the pension system should be near the top of the list. I agree. Plus that company has done a pretty good job. The ability to pay by credit card is such an improvement, and i agree with their pricing.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/2008/sep/20/fiction read this. College teaches you how to think really intensively. You'd be amazed how big of an asset that is. It's not that people without a degree can't do these exercises as well, but it's really really important to have some time to think critically and through your ideas. -

For the last time, your degree doesn't matter. -
Frankly...if you remove forte we have chester taylor. We had cutler out for a concussion as well. Our #2 WR out wouldn't kill us, b/c they all suck. Our OLB has been out as well. Jennings out wouldn't kill us either.

QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Dec 30, 2010 -> 01:40 PM) I admit it, I should be mature enough not to care. And I did eventually do that with Palin, because she got SO much attention, I stopped talking about her. But I also admit that some part of me enjoys the schadenfreude of watching someone who was so clearly, so obviously unfit for office, and who has said she'd probably run again, get her ass handed to her. This will be beneficial in the long run, hopefully keeping her out of office. I don't think we should ignore a scandal just because we think the person is not important. The idea of someone suddenly burst onto the spotlight with a ton of attention and money thrown at them to run for office, and then to find out that the funding was just used to line the coffers, is a pretty big deal. Especially considering a lot of unknowns could be coming to the forefront since being so unwashington you have no experience in anything is such a pro these days.

On the other hand the different types of bars derail was awesome.

QUOTE (lostfan @ Dec 23, 2010 -> 01:24 AM) There's ALL KINDS of bars like that and there's nothing wrong with the way it's done (which is similar to the way that gay bars cater to gays). I myself am planning on opening a restaurant one day and black people are going to be its target demographic. Being a black guy, when I was single I was a pretty prolific club-hopper and about 95% of the time I went out it was to a "black club" or "black bar." The 5% of the times were when I would go out with white or Hispanic friends and we'd go to those kinds of places, respectively. I mean, of course it's not called that, or recognized that way, but blacks, whites, and Hispanics all listen to different types of music so it isn't hard to tell. If a white person wants to go to a black bar and vice versa there's nothing preventing them from doing so. There's nothing nefarious about it. Beside that, many also have dress codes that are somewhat, disgustingly obvious.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Dec 23, 2010 -> 04:22 AM) Unfortunately I can make "attempt on the ball" mean anything or mean nothing. You have to use discretion when enforcing a rule. With less than a minute left, a close game, where a guy doesnt even try and hurt him, but merely fouls him (how many "intentional fouls" can be called in the last minute when teams are actually trying to foul to put the other team on the line), you have to use discretion and give the guy an and 1. It was bad judgment, I dont think you can look at the circumstances objectively and come to any other result. Even if my team won that way, I would still in my heart feel that it was cheap. You dont kill a team unless the guy really went out of his way to hurt him. Funny I don't feel cheap at all. Reading these comments was great entertainment. -
QUOTE (Athomeboy_2000 @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 09:58 PM) Call me crazy, but I dont care if mobile is "neutral" yet. I'm more worried about wired, where MOST Americans get the internet. And the new FCC reules do, in many ways, create net neutrality for wired networks. but what about those in rural areas?

QUOTE (Heads22 @ Dec 22, 2010 -> 07:31 PM) I doubt the music is any worse than the country bars here in Ames. Truth. Or country bars in chicago (houndstooth...ughghghghg)
