  2. LOL at Vince Young at Qb
  3. QUOTE (iamshack @ Oct 19, 2009 -> 12:01 AM) Come on now. 35-17 Bears in a laugher. Did you see that 9ers game? I'm not so sure, but obviously, I think the bears know with the success of the vikings at 6-0 you don't want to lose any games where you are equally matched.
  4. K...27-23 Bears win...hope I'm right. Not that confident.
  5. I think it's more about not risking injury.
  6. well as long as they have faith in god.
  7. QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 10:12 PM) Ryan Leaf is THE bust and 13.5 sacks in 29 starts is a bust as the 4th overall pick. Im not saying he wont be good or I hate the trade, I was pointing out that there wasnt a chance in hell Ogun is the worst of the 4 defensive ends. So unless you are saying Adams is better than Ogun your argument is irrelevant in the context. He's clearly a project, and IMO the bucs got pretty good value for him. But, I'm going to hope they are right about this kid. A force at DE will be very helpful to our secondary. The turnovers haven't come like they did in 04-06
  8. Some things should be based off of performance, though, and not just hunches that the vikes D is better.
  9. You said there was nothing that could convince you that the saints were better than the vikings. Last year the cards made it to the SB with an avg-to-bad running game. The Steelers had a really bad running game but a great D. It doesn't matter. The saints O is dynamic and even if struggling is still perpetually capable of turning it around on a drive. Meanwhile their D has showed up. I thought that the giants would tear their s*** up. They did to a degree. But when you are up by 4 tds pass defense gaps happen.
  10. lol, that's YOUR ARGUMENT for the saints.
  11. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 09:33 PM) Agreed, Vikings = worst team in the league. It just takes miracles for them to win. Have you met kapkomet?
  12. QUOTE (whitesoxfan101 @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 09:31 PM) This has been pretty clear for quite a while now. However, the Vikings defense COLLAPSED in the 4th today, and considering their next 2 are in Pittsburgh and Green Bay, there is hope they could get a couple of losses up there. Problem is, the Bears next two are in Atlanta and Cincy and won't be easy either. I'm pretty happy that the bengals lost. I have serious doubts we win tonight but I just hope that 60% win pct off the bye comes in our favor. We've had a lot of misfortune in D injuries. What I need is some better run blocking every week. The thing about the bears that I think we all feel is that they are a team that will improve with more time with cutler/WR, more time for our LBs to settle in, etc.
  13. they can stop the run they can stop the hoooooooooo flacco for another 20 yards....oooh ray rice for 33
  14. Winning close >>>> Beating the s*** out of teams, got it.
  15. We'll see. The NFL is crazy. The bears are going to have their hands full tonight, and I'd really hate to see them go down and have to play catch up against the vikes and pack
  16. QUOTE (SoxAce @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 08:20 PM) Vikings win it. Whether they are the best team or not, they are one of the best in the league. Of course they are. I'm merely not understanding what makes the vikings close victories more superior than the saints...and how the saints beating a 5-0 team in convincing, convincing fashion is not enough to, at this marker, say they've been the best in the league. but yes, the colts is a good argument. I suppose it's a toss up, I've yet to see the colts besides one womping on MNF or SNF.
  17. I can't comment on the other TO the ravens used, but I don't object to using the 2 TOs and the 2 min. warning like they did. Flacco is another good young QB, amazing how fast QBs are developing.
  18. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 08:13 PM) Oh please, you're the same fool who was touting the Bills as legit AFC contenders last season. Im fairly certain you are 13-14 years old and have literally no clue what you are talking about. Anything you say to me, I will just ignore because I have never seen anything logical about sports come from any post you have ever made here. I believe the psychological explanation for this is called projection.
  19. QUOTE (daa84 @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 08:12 PM) nice to see the ravens managed their timeouts well I don't know...I don't think I'd disagree with giving your offense a full two minutes as opposed to saving 1 but having like, 30 less seconds.
  20. QUOTE (T R U @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 08:10 PM) I don't need to make any excuse for them, whats your point? I'm ridiculing you for your unsubstantiated argument that the vikes are the best team after these 6 games.
  21. That was my original argument? What's your excuse for the vaunted vikings D?
  22. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Oct 18, 2009 -> 08:05 PM) Bah. That offense is something else. There probably isn't a defense that has given as many long pass plays as the ravens.
  23. I just find it amusing. Even if the vikes pull it off, it will only be further proof that they are the best, meanwhile... the saints are beating an undefeated team by 3 tds.
  24. what's the score TRU?
