I"m not that impressed with LSU, they've been living off of pre-season reputation and a blowout victory against Vatech in the early season. You can act like the SEC is some super conference, but you'd think that after playing all the hard teams they'd blow Ole' Miss outta the water, but that was close too. They have all the talent in the world, it's one of the reasons i'm not that impressed with les miles.

That's interesting. I always thought that if a player didn't have high SB #'s in the minors they had no chance in the majors b/c it seems so easy when you had guys like ruddy yan getting like 80 SBs. although your insight means it's truly impossible for me to have any idea about these upcoming players because i will never see any of them until mlb, if they make it.

you know, in defense of kansas, it's not really like they were a great team last year. I don't think anyone really expected this.
