Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
My thing is just that I think the ALC will be better than the ALW. I may be the highest on the Royals. And I'll believe the guardians are awful when I see it, because they are just too well run, constantly.

Odds for AL Cy Young, HR Leader and MVP
Also holy crap I'm editing my post because I meant Guardians but I had just written a post about the twins.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
Yeah it's unlikely but he's a wild card after 3 years off basically, and if he had made some adjustments in tampa and looks healthy it could happen.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
The old claim was steroids now we're going with pitch stealing? I can see the vascillating manfredball's being a bigger deal to a bunch of 25 hr hitters in 2019 declining to mush.

Opening Day predictions
I'm just hoping we aren't looking at a 6 hour game with 2 rain delays.

Sox add international signing
happy for him. Can't believe what a small class they walked into this year with.

Odds for AL Cy Young, HR Leader and MVP
I can't believe those odds for him anyway. I feel like scattering $20 across the entire Guardians pitching staff is the best play considering how good that damn org is with pitching. But OTOH every AL East pitcher has such a big leg up because if one of the pitchers dominates some starts against yanks or red sox 50% of the voters will put them first because they don't watch any other games.

Offseason Part 3 - Because Part 2 Was a Dud
Twins were having great success with their major league scouting and adjustments for a few years before it blew up last year. It will be interesting to see if they have regained some success with Paddack/Archer. It was strange last year watching so many of their promising young players regressing, but if that team finds 150 games out of buxton you can't count them out of anything. He's the straw as they say.

Cueto to Sox (Official)
I feel like the sox would have really benefitted from the Rule 5 draft.

Fangraphs’ Positional Rankings-Sox Rankings
And let's hope for baseball's sake it's not just due to trout, buxton, acuna with missing PAs due to injury. I'm sure Acuna's acl isn't going to be too big a deal but trout is starting to really breakdown.

Fangraphs’ Positional Rankings-Sox Rankings
Ugh I'm so dumb I had Acuna at RF in my head.

Fangraphs’ Positional Rankings-Sox Rankings
Doing this blind because it's more fun. CF ahead of Robert would be Buxton, Trout(?), ... drawing a blank now. I hope this isn't extremely obvious that will be embarrassing. NL CF ...is it marte?

But the Os don't seem to care about any valuation but their own, and also don't seem to be trying a bunch of AAAA guys out like the sox/brewers did during their rebuilds. Pirates .. Reds, they definitely could but we know little about their systems and they may have their own guy they think is as likely to stick as a guy that had a 35% and 40% k rate in AAA and AA levels.
