  1. Since they are getting zilch out of Otto I wouldn't be surprised if it is just an OPJ/drummond swap with maybe a second round pick or something. Drummond wakes a ton, not many teams could take that on, but bulls have some good tradeable contracts. I think it could be a good idea to see how Zach plays off a good, albeit limited, big like Drummond since you are probably building around Zach at this point. I don't really see it though, and bulls rumors have been pretty much from the sellers, so it will be interesting. We have zilch clue what bulls will do.
  2. Mock drafts have become boring as everyone is just circling Mac Jones around the bears and then someone like Eichenberg in the 2nd. I'm just a Russell Wilson boy now as it is more fun. @Chisoxfn June 1st would save SEattle a ton of money, and I thought this article was good. I didn't think waiting was that big of a deal aside from the rookie not being able to participate in OTAs, but this article was good on another point - it would be a pain in the ass for SEattle if it wanted to package the picks they received from bears in draft day trades. https://dabearsblog.com/2021/bears-need-to-force-action-on-russell-wilson
  3. Yeah typically they herd people into just a few food options when expecting light attendance, I imagine part of plan will actually be to keep more vendors open to avoid that. Regarding seats, no idea would love to hear if any season ticket holders have had communication on how they were providing flexibility
  4. also just sidenote on law, he is my #1 media evaluator, but he is still annoying. I will say baseball draftguys have much less of a herd mentality than football/basketball, which is nice. I get that it's annoying that people think your rankings should reflect some x just because another writer did it. Callis is the worst because it just seems like all he does is take a mixture of others and then move up a few for interest. That said, Law had to know leaving Fabian out of his top 30 would be of interest. And in the comments, he can be such a jerk about it, like it is beneath him to have to explain his rankings. But that is kinda his job. The BA crew are just obsessively nice and I'll always back them up for that.
  5. I'm going to throw this out there, but njonlinegambling.com may not be the most rigorous polling unit
  6. Sigh this makes me misty-eyed. Picking up some tall boys before hopping on the green line to drink in the parking lot before heading in is just one of my very favorite things. None of those things by themselves are good (green line is good), but together ... incredible.
  7. Was this funded by from the 108?
  8. I would try therapy.
  9. Yeah, here is the perfect storm. Brees still wants another year and Russ wouldn't do him like that and Payton wouldn't do him like that. Gruden re-commits to Carr with a new deal Dallas seemed to rebuff pretty early. Even with saints, the good news is bears won't be unable to provide similar package with draft compensation.
  10. Kyle Brandt is on the score now on why he has bears get a good QB hype and I'm dying laughing. He's so good.
  11. Ah man all the soxtalk accountants are going to fall over eachother to start talking about some weird tax laws. Have at it you guys, it is your christmas.
  12. Hey! It's another believer! Regardless, he's the type of guy that even if you weren't in the mode to make that type of splash you make room for. But the Bears are absolutely in the mode for needing a guy like him.
  13. Sure is a lotta smoke that Wilson and Seattle is really at breakup level.
  14. Even if there were, SCOTUS has made quid pro quo legal, making the standard to prove that he gave that money because of x virtually impossible without him actually dropping a bag of money at his step and taking the boxes of vaccines out with him.
  15. My gut belief not backed up by anything real is they have a deal but are waiting for more vaccine availability coming soon to avoid a "you are opening up sports while teachers still can't get vaccines?" story even though it is unrelated this is outdoors and is not real. Schools have an agreement, Reinsdorf just gave the UC to vaccines, crapton more vaccines open up today/next week -> now city announces deal where sports can reopen.
  16. Naw it's cool if 20 teams overthink it.
  17. Indoor will be a little different but yeah I would bet it will start slow with maybe 5k-8k
  18. love hearing applause on these highlights.
  19. Rips off the mask - it's miguel ascensio

  21. A little bummed we haven't seen Sheets in the outfield. Guessing that was a little overblown.
