Yep, that's where the GM report came from. The Samsung report is good (and good for TX pretty sweet plan) but I think what is still unclear to me is whether they are actually going to succeed in being able to manufacture these newer miniaturized chips that really only TSM has shown an ability to specialize in. That's how TSM took the Apple chips away from samsung. I found this from when Samsung opened up the plant "A single extreme ultraviolet lithography machine from ASML Holding NV costs $172 million, and Samsung is setting up dozens of them in Hwaseong in an effort to be first with the technology. Taiwan Semiconductor and Samsung are both expected to reach 5-nanometer production processes with extreme ultraviolet lithography in the new year -- by contrast, a human hair is about 60,000 nanometers thick. When those two companies reach the 5-nanometer level on semiconductors, they'll have only each other to compete with in a market that's only set to expand." So it is super capital intensive, and clearly very difficult to do. But it is good, apparently US has already pushed for more physical manufacturing of it to be done here, though TSM I guess is trying to toe the line so they don't get cut out of China businesses.

Tried to do one where I DON'T trade up SMDH and instaed I traded down for 25 and a pick swap for our 3rd rounder (83) for 45. Ended up with Teven Jenkens, Terrace Marshall, and Chazz Surratt. Probably gonna stop for now because I keep just wanting the same guys

Man that is the most fun simulator I've ever played with. The trades are so addicting. In my draft, Trey lance was around at 14 (vikes), so I traded to get ahead of the patriots which kinda took a lot (20, current third, future second) Then I traded out of the back of the 2nd to the front of the third and picked up an extra fourth and next years third. I picked up the Notre Dame T Liam Eichenberg.

at this I have very little clue who is minor league quality. Peacock has enough injury baggage that he could work, I obviously love how he was an effective swing man. I still think Jimmy Nelson would be interesting, but there has been so little about him that you assume his back still sucks. And that's not even his shoulder. Stripling would be a good idea, I just think he signs somewhere.

At this point, every league should be assuming their golden age of viewership rights is over and they need to be aggressive in building different streams that build revenue. I don't think merely streaming on different services accomplishes this, as viewership for younger demos was abysmal (and it supposedly includes streaming). Maybe gambling takes care of all of it. Maybe this new "store of value" sensibility allows teams fun ways to raise money through some sort of tradeable market that pays out based of the year success. I have no clue. But "we'll let you stream our games for a fee, which you will make back in advertising" is broke and isn't coming back, and sports is not floating the model like it used to.

That leaves possibilities that our weak depth is actually strong, esp. in rotation. It is very possible. But it's also very possible it craters and undermines our bullpen. It is a possibility.

I think they weren't, in chicago at least, going to make a declaration on it before they got schools in order. But I think you are right and I think it will be much sooner than later. March is really going to be humming with vaccines. I expected IL to be around 30k a day in phase 1b based on how phase 1A went. It's at 50 already, and looks like it should be 60k soon. I do agree with Balta that outdoor was an easier decision before the new variants, where it may be more transmissable. But it just depends on what stuff looks like in March. So I think it's just going to be a late decision.

So the story starts about how the people that initially all got the vaccines live in majority white neighborhoods, 2(!) year old census data that can't actually break down accurately by hospital roles shows health care workers live across the city. Then actual data they had shows that when vaccines were provided to the hospitals, physicians were the ones who were most likely to opt to take it right away, and the physicians tended to live in the majority white areas or in suburbs. Then later after hospital staff saw the vaccines didn't have much side effects, much more of the staff took it. And it's all wrapped under the insinuation that white wealthy people are jumping the line. I really get annoyed by articles that insinuate something untoward is happening rather than a more straightforward article about how a high number of healthcare workers were initially skeptical of the vaccine but have now opted to take it in higher numbers.
