So Boras makes you feel far apart forever and then gradually anchors you to a deal higher than you would think the market would still be. Maybe this guy makes you feel close, drags it out, close, drags it out until you become sick of it and pay up.

In general though when there’s momentum building and then just kinda stops typically there’s a snag. Doesn’t mean it’s over, but I’m not surprised to hear there isn’t rosy news.
If we sign machado and Harper we could not SIGN Trout though. Would not be a good value for one year. Maybe if it’s a deadline acquisition in 2020 and we are gonna destroy the league with 4 all star outfielders (Harper, Robert, trout, Eloy)
Uh, what? It’s a good article, but it’s just analysis on how the Yankees can use their infield. Rosenthal writes columns, his job isn’t only to break news.
And not even just next years class, but at deadline we've seen too "too expensive to trade" pitchers go last few years. Having room to soak them up will reduce cost of prospects.
