  1. 86 sounds about right to me. I'm not sure if that gets us into the playoffs but I think it at least gives us a shot.
  2. So Y2AJ are gone and LoN is getting their title shot at Roadblock now. I wonder where this leaves New Day for mania now? Maybe it'll be Gallows and Anderson or Enzo and Cass. I'm intrigued.
  3. QUOTE (iWin4Ron @ Mar 7, 2016 -> 05:03 PM) any background on this Sami guy? Why is he so well known / good? He was a super well known Indy wrestler before he came to wwe. Him and Owens have a big history and Sami is probably the closest comparison you can have to Daniel Bryan.
  4. QUOTE (nitetrain8601 @ Mar 6, 2016 -> 01:16 PM) So was Holm. And Holm dominated Rhonda. It wasn't a close fight. Holm also did a lot better against Tate than Rousey did against Holm. Flat out, if Holm isn't getting a rematch(again, she was winning that fight big), then it should be Holm vs Rousey to see who the #1 contender was. And Ronda didn't get a rematch right away. I bet Holly is the next challenger after Meisha-Ronda. I'm not even arguing that id rather see something else besides Tate-Rousey cause I would but she absolutely deserves the next title shot.
  5. She was also an undefeated champion before she lost, she absolutely deserves a title shot.
  6. Ya why wouldn't Ronda get the next title shot? She should absolutely be next in line.
  7. QUOTE (Chisoxfn @ Mar 3, 2016 -> 10:56 AM) You guys realize, the target audience is the kids, whose parents were the primary demographic of the original. I don't think, outside of some early nostaligia, the goal was for people in their early to late 30's to be watching the show, rather their kids to be watching the show and the parents at least having that ability to "relate" to it, so to speak. I could be wrong and my kids aren't old enough. And I thought the show was a classic and watched it plenty growing up. I don't think so. Almost everything they do is trying to be a throw back to something in the original. It's targeted at us.
  8. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Mar 3, 2016 -> 11:02 AM) It's all fun and games until your guy gets hurt. Kane and Toews are paid to do one thing, that is win the Stanley Cup. Which they do a lot.
  9. I still think Hoiberg(for now) is the least of this team's issues. Front office needs to go and the roster needs a complete overhaul and then go from there.
  10. QUOTE (bmags @ Mar 2, 2016 -> 09:11 AM) Thanks, beautiful subforum. No thanks to you!
  11. Hoping SIU doesn't lose by 50 on Friday. And hoping the Shockers don't beat everyone by double digits. Here's the bracket:
  12. I definitely agree with the overall theme of the original post but I think Lawrie will be fine at 2b.
  13. I'm sure Owens will somehow make the Big Show feud interesting if that's where they're going but that dude deserves so much better. Could have gotten an epic feud with AJ or Sami but we might be getting the f***in Big Show instead. Frustrating. Used to love Dolph but his character is just absolute garbage now a days. And I just don't care about the HoF either way.
  14. QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Feb 29, 2016 -> 09:34 PM) Are we gonna see a Kevin Owens vs Big show match at mania? Ew Looks like it. That'll piss me off more than anything else they've done for Mania. EDIT: Maybe they'll call an audible when they roll through all the big cities the next few weeks. They better.
  15. QUOTE (AustinIllini @ Feb 29, 2016 -> 02:21 PM) Fuller House was awful. But I'm in my late 20s, so I had to watch. I got to episode 6 and finally threw in the towel. Like you said, I needed to watch it and I kept trying to get through it but I gave up after episode 6.
  16. QUOTE (bmags @ Feb 29, 2016 -> 02:12 PM) I just think he may not have known the context for why Chris Rock was giving the monologue he gave. I think this is 100 percent what happened. Like I said, not a big deal but he does have to be smarter than this.
  17. It's not a big deal but at the same time he's got to be smarter than that. In this day and age, people are going to run with that.
  18. QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ Feb 28, 2016 -> 08:02 PM) Illinois just got Damonte Williams! Absolute huge get Never felt so old in my life.
  19. QUOTE (Middle Buffalo @ Feb 27, 2016 -> 10:55 PM) Fifteen years from now, Steph will be saying the same thing about the guys in the league in 2031. Every generation thinks they were better than the current generation. Probably. But these guys are even more annoying right now because they don't understand the different style of basketball. Oscar's dumbass also compared Steph to some middle of the road bum from back in his day. I hope all the old guys shut up too.
  20. They put out the NXT takeover logo today so I decided to go check what the tickets are at on stubhub...cheapest is going for $356. Yeesh.
  21. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 25, 2016 -> 06:03 PM) Sure, we could have kidnapped him and forced him to play for the Sox, or drastically overpaid a player after which you would be angry at the production to cost ratio, or the Sox could have magically become the favorite to win the World Series thereby attracting more players. All are legit strategies. Ya, once again we can all make excuses why this team still hasn't signed an outfielder. Every outfielder ever just wanted to stay with their current team, Upton would have been an overpay but the fact remains that Avi is still a starting outfielder on this team. If they really wanted all of these guys they should have been able to land one of them and if they actually want Garcia as our starting rf then there's more wrong with this organization than I thought. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 25, 2016 -> 06:04 PM) The Cubs signed 3 starter FA's for less than they were offered by other teams including Heyward. It matters if your team is a favorite. This is the first time I can remember that a team has been able to grab that many guys on discount whether they're the favorites or not. It's not just that they're the favorite, it has a lot to do with the culture that Maddon, Theo and Jed have created.
  22. QUOTE (Y2JImmy0 @ Feb 25, 2016 -> 05:54 PM) You can feel however you want. You are being irrational though and people shouldn't take you seriously. lol ok.
  23. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 25, 2016 -> 02:18 PM) Why? He wanted to play for the Cubs That's nice. Like I said, I don't really give a crap what the reason is. If you want to look at every free agent outfielder individually you can come up with a fine excuse on why said player didn't sign with the Sox but when you miss out on every single one there's a problem somewhere with how you're operating.
