  1. Because I like the rotation that's been put together for the next couple of years. Lets say the sox do sign a top of the rotation starter such as pavano, if you could have a top 4 of pavano, garcia, buehrle, contreras for the next couple of years I really think you have a great rotation to build your team around.
  2. It could be that he's just more effective out of the bullpen, what's the point right now to stick him in the rotation the last couple weeks of the season take that chance of him getting rocked again and losing that confidence that he's gained in the bullpen? To me it just makes more sense to leave him in the pen the rest of the year, jmo.
  3. Right now, I don't think Diaz gives us a better shot at winning games then Grilli does starting.
  4. Great article Evan!!
  5. I was being sarcastic about guys thriving out of the pen after not succeeding as starters, it happens all the time, that was my point. I like Felix a lot too, however he needs to stay in the pen maybe we've found another solid reliever for next year. I'm not trying to say that Grilli is a great starter but atleast he's kept us in ballgames most of his starts, not all of them but most of them. Either way there is no point to switch their positions right now, do you agree with that cheat?
  6. Wow, I guess miracles do happen, fathom.
  7. I know you weren't trying to be a smartass. Well we agree but we're still arguing.
  8. No frickken way, he's been real clutch throughout his career, but if you think he's more valuable then bonds your nuts, without bonds the giants are right there with the dbacks this year. Either way if I'm starting a franchise I'm taking santana.
  9. Like I said I could be wrong. It's definitely not a great era but atleast he's kept us in games, diaz didn't as a starter(am I repeating myself? ) Either way diaz has been awesome out of the pen, why mess with that, when he could be building a lot of confidence for himself?
  10. First funny thing you've ever said, ace.
  11. Like I said before, put me or you out there for the twins and we'd produce, they just have a great organization, period.
  12. Of course we expect more out of garland. Most of Grilli's starts he's went around 6 innings giving up around 4 runs, I believe last night was the first time he's given up more then 4 runs in a start(I could definitely be wrong about that), obviously that's not very good era wise, however atleast he's been keeping us in games, diaz on the other hand when starting did not keep us in games. Let Jason start and diaz pitch out of the pen.
  13. Keith, that's true, however me and my friend stayed at the hotel without are parents last year, his mom came up to the hyatt with us, checked us in and just left. If you can definitely do that, it was an awesome experience staying at the hotel last year, I'll definitely be doing the same thing this year and it's at the hyatt regency in downtown.
  14. Have you ever heard of people being better in the bullpen then starters jeckle?? He's pitching so well out of the pen, why mess that up?? I know cheat's going to argue with me about this but Grilli has been solid, he doesn't have a qs yet but he's kept us in every game he's pitched, diaz did not, diaz has pitched awesome out of the bullpen no need to mess with that.
  15. I'd definitely love to be in if there are spots open next year.
  16. Job well done Cheat.
  17. You are?? It would have been nice to get rid of Joe B instead of Reed no doubt, that being said this was still a good trade.
  18. I don't like that rotation at all. We need a top of the rotation guy not two bottom of the rotation guys, and the braves would never ever trade Capellan.
  19. I don't play a lot anymore, but I have some friends that are really addicted.
  20. He sure did. We had a great opportunity to win it all that year also, if Hugh Hollins wasn't blind.

I agree. The key to cliff is getting his slider over, when he gets that pitch over for strikes he's very tough to hit.
  22. Michael Jordan was the best player of all time, of course scottie wasn't the star on his own team. There is no doubt in my mind scottie was the greatest perimeter defender ever, he's a top 50 player easily, imo. Great Career pip, I wish you the best.
  23. Thanks a ton Chimpy, awesome job.
