  1. Dunn has 4 td's so far this year, he didn't have a lot of yards on sunday but still a good fantasy day, I'm leaning towards accepting it but it's tough.
  2. I need your guys opinion on this, I'd be giving up Dunn and Holt and I'd be getting Fred Taylor and Coles, I know dunn's been real good so far but I really don't think he's going to keep this up, so what do you guys think, should I do it?
  3. Sorry dbaho. It's not that far away, I think you can make the trip up here.
  4. I was thinking the same thing, but basically just take what wharris said and change it from pitching to hitting and it'll still happen.
  5. It was a joke and not a very good one. C'mon man, I'm not THAT dumb.
  6. My friend and I stayed at the hotel last year for it, absolutely awesome time, I really can't wait for it, to bad it's so far away.
  7. Who do you think that's going to be, I'm afraid their "big" pickup might be Russ Ortiz. :puke
  8. Stop blaming the hitting coach, first it was von joshua's fault, then Gary Ward's fault, and now Walk's fault, ever thought the players themselves might have something to do with it?
  9. Joe Nossek was the best in the league, a good bench coach can definitely help your team out a bunch, as for Harold, well............. :sleep
  10. Yes they did, probably didn't want to have it conflicting with the superbowl again. Either way I already can't wait for soxfest, it's always a blast.
  11. DBAHO do you have to win everything, greedy aussie. :headshake
  12. Oh, I'm definitely not arguing ross vs. pauly, like you said it's gload and more, plus gloads a better player to fit with what ozzie wants to do.
  13. For some reason I can't right now, every time I go to highlite the word then use green it gets unhighlited, stupid computer.
  14. If he gets drafted by the twins, will you cut his arms off???
  15. Well, his numbers have been great this year no doubt about that. I'm not just saying I think he can be a solid everyday player though because of the those numbers, I've been a big fan of Ross since I've seen him play for the sox. I love his hitting approach, I love the way he takes what pitchers give him, unlike a lot of guys on this team he's not pull happy, he'll hit the ball opposite way. I know a ton of people got down on him cause he dropped a couple of flyballs in the outfield, well he's not an outfielder. He's a very good defensive firstbasemen, he's got very good speed for a firstbasemen. Imo, gload can hit .280 over a full season, 20 homers, 75 rbi's. He's also one of those guys that hawk would say "don't tell me what he hits, tell me when he hits it," there aren't many other guys on the sox I'd want up more in a clutch situation then ross. I really do believe gload can be a very solid firstbasemen and maybe help the team more then pauly would and I know pauly puts up far better numbers but sometimes guys like Gload can help your team out more with his style of play under our current manager. With Konerko's value so high I definitely believe we could get a solid leadoff man and maybe a bullpen arm to go along with, the trade jason proposed a week or so ago Pauly for Furcal and Cruz doesn't seem that far out of the realm of possibility. Imo, it just makes perfect sense to trade Pauly when his value is at his highest, with a good replacement in place, and our manager and gm wanting to change the look of this team to more speed and defense.
  16. Well gload doesn't have a lot of ab's against lefties but he's absolutely mashed the one's he's faced this season. With the way he stays closed against them I think he can hit them pretty well. If you trade pauly for a good leadoff man by putting a better defender and more speed at 1st, obviously less power and a worse hitter, although ross is a better clutch hitter then I think your filling a hole instead of creating one.
