Zito is definitely more proven, I understand how people would want zito more, but Pavano has been the guy I've wanted for a while, everytime I watch the guy pitch he impresses me more and more, I just think Pavano is an absolute stud, but you can't go wrong either way.

I hear all the time that one of the big 3 is definitely getting traded in the offseason. I'd obviously love to have zito, however I'd like Pavano more but I won't get greedy, I'll take zito.

Neither would I and I'm sure qwerty wouldn't either. We're both trying to say he's one hell of a setup man, but I agree he's not a good closer at all.

But if we got him we could use him as a setup man to setup shingo, however I doubt we trade for him anyways, so it doesn't matter.

I agree he was one of the best if not the best setup man in baseball when he was setting up for Wagner, now as a closer he'd scare the s*** out of me.

No thanks to Eric Milton, Kline would be nice, Jones would be nice, Uribe is a cheaper and maybe even better version of Cabrera.

Pavano is my number 1 choice. I'd love to have JD Drew but like you guys have already said Boras is his agent. I'd also love Vizquel and/or catalanotto. Bullpen wise Williamson would be awesome, I also like the idea of Percival.

That would be one hell of a team, to bad that team would cost a s*** load of money.

What do you mean beastly? JD Drew is one heck of a player and I actually love maggsmaggs ideas, I actually wouldn't have any problem with gload starting at first base because he's a very good first basemen, also ross can hit, I wouldn't start him in the outfield because he's very uncomfortable out there. I think it was quickman who said we need a first basemen who's a great gloveman, can hit 15 homers and bat .275, gload might fit all those descriptions. As far as JD Drew he'd be an absolutely perfect replacement for maggs, he's left handed high avg, good power, good outfielder, good speed, the only problem is Boras is his agent.

I'm on the vizquel at ss bandwagon. Let uribe start the year at 2b, have willie start on the bench and vizquel and uribe up the middle is one heck of a defensive middle infield, then having aaron leadoff and vizquel bat 2nd is also a very, very good top of the order.

I was very impressed by this guy in the futures game, he definitely has a chance to be special.
