Completely agreed Crede needs to stay in the lineup. That ball to center was definitely catchable but he's rusty out there right now, but once he gets used to playing center again he will be fine out there. I think this is the best everday lineup the sox can put out there now considering there is no way in hell you can have an 8 million dollar a year bench player in pk, but hopefully kenny can swing a deal to get rid of pk or carlos soon. I would love to see ross get to play everday it just won't happen right now.

They were both in the Everett deal. Also with the Koch trade, it sucked for last year, but what does oakland have to show for it now? I know most everyone hates koch, but he's 6 of 7 in save opportunites and has done his job, and also got a stud pitcher out of it in cotts who eventually is going to be one hell of a starting pitcher.

I dislike the cubs a lot more then the twins, but I want the twins to lose more.

It'd be great for the sox to take their time with him, but I think he'd be more beneficial to the white sox then clee even if he didn't produce at a huge level right away.

Peter Gammons,(yes I know it's peter gammons so not a great source) brought up Kris Benson again on the 11 o'clock bbtn, but if Kenny is looking to acquire him he must be trying to also trade PK or carlos because I'm positive he has no money to spend right now, I wonder how he's trying to work that out. Kenny is probably the most aggressive gm in baseball and I don't think it's just a coincidence gammons keeps mentioning him with trade talks. I think there might be a trade before Diaz's next start against the twinkies. I said before in other threads that if the sox could get rid of pk or carlos even for prospects it would be addition by subtraction meaning I think the sox offense is better off with gload starting at 1b then pk(I really love watching ross play) and reed out in lf then carlos.

To rebuild you keep your young, cheap, good, talented players you don't trade them. If your rebuilding you trade guys in the last years of their contracts or older players for prospects, the pirates would never trade Oliver.

Like I said before after watching this team pull this crap again this year, I blamed way to much on Jerry Manuel last year, it was his players not him. Cwsox you always said jerry was a good manager and I bashed you for that, I still don't think he was a good manager, but he definitely wasn't as bad as I thought. Cwsox

PK in untradeable I think at this point, I wish the sox could get rid of him for anything in the world. The offense needs to be dismantled. Two of maggs, hurt, pk, and carlos must go, I would love it to be pk and carlos but that would be real hard. The only two people in this lineup that have earned anything this year are uribe and willie and they are the only two guys in the lineup who don't swing for the fences. I absolutely love those two at the top of the lineup and absolutely hate the rest of the lineup.

I've wanted Randall Simon on this team since the offseason, but still the problem is getting rid of pauly.

um... Catalanotto is a lefty and not a power hitter, he's a slap hitter, he'd be exactly the type of hitter the sox would need, but finding a spot for him would be the problem.

I like ozzie better then Manuel no doubt about it. But after watching this crap happen again this year, I realize I blamed far to much on Manuel.

I've always liked Benson also, his era this year is around 4.6 this year that scares me a little if he'd come to the american league, but I think a change of scenery for him and maybe coop would get him going a little bit. I'd prefer kenny get freddy garcia but it would be nice to get anybody. Still I think kenny's biggest job is going to be to sure up this offense and a lot of it using the addition by subtraction theory.

If he could trade for Benson(which I would love) maybe he'd be able to get rid of one of the bum squad(clee and pk) and get rid of some of that right handed power crap in the middle of the order.

Guys, Willie and Uribe have been awesome this year, and they have speed, keep those two at the top of the lineup. It's been the middle of the lineup that's been killing this offense, I absolutely love having willie and juan as the top 2 in the order.

It's not his stance that is costing him, it was that stance that gave him that huge lift last year. I've always been a fan of aaron but he's a 4th outfielder that's it. Willie should be in center and keep the same lineup out there everyday that ozz put out there yesterday.

Yes and so does era. Adkins has done a good job so far this year, stop bringing up his whip if he's not letting up runs then he's doing fine. Brando some stats you look way to far into, Adkins has done a damn good job so far, find another player to bash, which for you is everyone else on the sox.

The sox need left handed bats and guys who don't swing for the fences, something has to be done with pk and carlos they both suck. I'd put Willie in center trade lee, bring up reed, trade pauly for a bag of baseballs and let gload play. I know this lineup doesn't look good on paper, but I'm tired of the sox being paper champions, and I guarantee this lineup would score more runs then the s*** that's on the field right now. The sox won't win this division until something is done with the lineup. Carlos or PK must go and if neither get traded ozzie must split them up in the lineup, because frank is always on base and then there are 2 automatic outs behind him.

Brando somethings I agree with you on, but not marte or crede. Damaso is a great pitcher he didn't have it today, he's the best left handed reliever in the american league no doubt. Crede crushed that ball to right field to the warning track against Rincon so don't blame him for that.
