2013-2014 NFL Thread
QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 10:48 AM) I realize anything can happen but the Bears winning at Seattle is a pipe dream. Keep getting excited about squeaking by the likes of Cleveland. I'm a bigger Seahawks fan than Bears fan and I'd pick the Hawks at home 99 times out of 100 but there's always that one time(the little giants taught me that), you just never know.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 10:24 AM) If Carolina takes care of business at home, it would be the Saints as the wild card. Yup, good call. And honestly, I'd rather see the Saints than Panthers in the playoffs if I were a Bears fan.

Catch-All Anything Thread
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Dec 15, 2013 -> 11:44 PM) Sorry to hear that. I know the feeling of being caught in the middle and being a liaison. It's annoying and unfair. Ha I appreciate it but it is what it is. This keeps getting more fun though. Dad pissed at aunt, aunt pissed at step mom and step brother, cousin pissed at step brother. Supposedly just vicious emails, texts and calls going back and forth. I've just started ignoring every text and call I'm getting from everyone.

2013-2014 NFL Thread
QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 10:02 AM) We have to hope that the addition of Briggs and maybe Tillman in the playoffs would help stop the run a little. Ratcliff seems to be improving the d-line. Safeties are still awful though. They'll have to score their way through the playoffs. Can you do that on the road at Seattle? The answer here is probably not but it's not impossible. I love love love Marshawn Lynch but he has fumbling issues, if they are somehow beat at home it'll probably be because of that. I don't see their defense or Wilson losing them a game.

2013-2014 NFL Thread
QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 10:11 AM) I only know because I was streaming the game on my computer for fantasy football purposes lol. He beat him on a real good double move. Announcers couldn't believe that Haden got beaten so badly so close to the endzone. Haden is a fantastic player but I've seen him get burned quite a few times this year.

2013-2014 NFL Thread
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 10:09 AM) as of right now, wouldnt you love to have that chance? Basically you are saying the Bears win their first playoff game(which right now would be against the Panthers or 49ers) I love the Niners and Panthers but it'd be interesting to see how they perform in Chicago on that thing the Bears call a football field.

Changing the subject for a second, I defend Tony Romo a lot but the fact that he changed from a run to a pass on that last drive is unbelievably stupid. And now the coaching staff and the players are just throwing everyone and anyone under the bus besides themselves. Fantastic.

QUOTE (bmags @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 09:40 AM) My favorite play yesterday wasn't even Jeffrey's catch it was Marshall jumping over Joe Haden and then stiff arming him, only to later be first WR to score a TD on Haden this year. He was playing like a man yesterday. First pro bowl wr.

And while the 1st pick was a bad decision, the 2nd pick most likely doesn't happen if he's been playing the last few weeks. After he shook off the rust he was damn awesome the rest of the game. Also, not sure if it has been mentioned yet but Jay leads the league in 4th quarter qbr this season.

2014 Winter Olympics
QUOTE (ptatc @ Dec 16, 2013 -> 08:28 AM) An interesting thing to watch this year will be the injuries with Team USA. I received an email a few weeks ago begging for volunteer medical staff. With the new healthcare system in flux clinics are not allowing staff to leave for the extended period of time. The USOC doesn't have the staff that it normally does. Well that sucks.

2013 TV Thread
QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 13, 2013 -> 03:03 PM) My wife watches the trashiest of trashy reality tv, thank god we have multiple TVs in the house. Kardashians, Real Housewives, The Challenge(YES ITS f***ING TRASHY I DONT CARE WHAT YOU THINK), Real World, Shahs of Sunset, Survivor, Big Brother. I can tolerate the Survivors and Big Brothers, and I watch Top Chef with her, but i run and hide when the other crap is on. I would prefer to watch Spongebob and Adventure time with Jakob. My daughter watches the Nick and Disney shows, Labrats, Victorious, shows like that. But she watches them in her own room. You watch wrestling, stop hating on the reality tv shows. . The Challenge might as well be related to WWE.

From the Bears perspective, not only is GB still alive but I bet Rodgers would have just been shut down if the Pack lost this game. This hurt the Bears in more way than one.
