  1. QUOTE (CryptviLL @ Oct 3, 2013 -> 03:58 PM) Okay, who wants to help me out here? I am going to plan a workout routine/schedule. My goal is to plan it so that I have 2 or 3 off days. Saturday and Monday for sure. I'd like Sunday to be my 'toughest' day. I am extremely skinny (6 feet tall, 135 pounds), but I have great endurance (run often/exercise/basketball). So I am looking to build muscle, but this is something I've never really dedicated myself to doing. (Ive had many gym memberships and have often worked out on and off so I am not out of shape by any means, but I need a routine...) How do I set up my schedule? Typically, I've just had workout days where I work out everything because I have so much endurance... but I want more of a real routine. Help me out? Google 5x5 and I'd start with that. Do compound lifts: bench, deadlift, squat, rows, chinups/pullups, don't worry about isolation moves for now. Most of all EAT, eat and eat some more.
  2. QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Oct 3, 2013 -> 10:15 AM) I am more interested in pre all star break 2021 They will be the Kansas City White Sox and Greg will be their manager.
  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Oct 3, 2013 -> 07:03 AM) Post your predictions for the playoffs here. Poster with the closest picks wins 2 49ers tickets and a fixed up '69 Chevelle. This made me laugh. Well done sir. With the White Sox being so bad, I sadly haven't paid attention to baseball enough to even make educated predictions here.
  4. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 3, 2013 -> 10:09 AM) WHO'S READY FOR BILLS AND BROWNS? Easily the two most exciting teams in the NFL Cameron and Gordon actually make the Browns semi fun to watch.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 05:37 PM) I think Trophy Wife is pretty good so far. I liked the first episode of Mom but the 2nd one was weaker. Where do I hand in my man card? You have to be a man to have a man card...BURN
  7. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 05:13 PM) Wimpy won't be a pompous ass who makes just as many mistakes as his partner, though Stone is the pompous ass?
  8. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 08:51 AM) The new rules are going to increase scoring a bit, I think, especially for a team like the Hawks that forechecks so f***ing well. For a hockey dumby like myself, what were the rule changes?
  9. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 04:53 PM) I've grown to like Hawk more as time goes on. Please god, fire Steve Stone and get Wimpy back here Give it 2 months and Hawk would be just as bored and tired with Wimpy as he is with Stone now. That's just who he is right now.
  10. QUOTE (bmags @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 04:45 PM) I don't think the Gonzalez trade was bad for that guy. TG has been performing and he may have had a WR2 that would be a small enough drop off that the increase in TE points was worth it. But I would not have traded Gio Bernard for Alshon. Who may be an up and down guy. Gonzalez had 1 amazing week and has been very blah besides that. You never trade a WR1(and a top 5 one at that) for a middle of the road TE1.
  11. I've said this like 100 times but I love the guy but he's absolutely awful at his job at the moment.
  12. QUOTE (Jake @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 03:56 PM) Traded Alshon Jeffery for Giovani Bernard and Tony Gonzalez for Julio Jones What the? How the?
  13. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 02:59 PM) The Bulls play on Saturday. Could we really see Derrick Rose on an NBA court playing an officiated game? Nah.
  14. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 03:12 PM) The Broncos are going 16-0. There Rowand, now it's thread appropriate Nope.
  15. QUOTE (gatnom @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 03:11 PM) Antonio Gates or Justin Blackmon for flex? Gates.
  16. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 01:43 PM) Their two toughest games are going to be the Pats and the Texans. I think Peyton shreds through the Chiefs defense and they win both by double digits. They'll lose two at least, write that down. But as always, NO ONE CARES ABOUT REAL FOOTBALL!!!! My decision this week is whether to play James Jones or Tony Gonzalez as my flex. I'm leaning towards Jones.
  17. QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 2, 2013 -> 09:00 AM) I think they will No chance.
  18. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Oct 1, 2013 -> 05:05 PM) While searching on Google for the wonderful Dan Bernstein "Kobe is a Bull" bulls***, I found this wonderful Soxtalk thread http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?sh...=58909&st=0 That was a fun thread to go through.
  19. QUOTE (flavum @ Oct 1, 2013 -> 04:48 PM) It's going to be tough for them to win tonight. They don't have a game. Might be tough but they can pull it out!

QUOTE (Buehrle>Wood @ Oct 1, 2013 -> 03:22 PM) I just got an interview request for less than 20 hours from now? Uh, is that normal? I'm not the least bit prepared and haven't had an interview in a long time. I think I'll just turn it down. Seems kind of ridiculous. If it's a good job just go for it. If you bomb the interview oh well, better than not taking the shot.
  21. QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 1, 2013 -> 05:46 AM) So, I'm running my first 5K in 2 weeks. I've never been a distance runner, so this should be fun... You'll be fine. 5k is "easy" enough to power through even if you've never been a distance runner.
  22. QUOTE (HickoryHuskers @ Oct 1, 2013 -> 12:31 PM) So somebody could watch 14 hours of nearly-continuous football Sunday. I say nearly-continuous because depending on how long games run, there is usually about a 30 minute window between the end of the late afternoon games and the Sunday night game. If this was 4 years ago and I was still in college, I would love this late start but now it makes me angry.

QUOTE (Y2HH @ Oct 1, 2013 -> 12:03 PM) I don't really see it as a "Walt wins" situation, at all. He lost his family, had to say goodbye to the daughter that cannot even understand him/will never know him, and he wasn't even able to say goodbye to his son, or explain anything to him. He also admitted that as Heisenberg, he was 'alive', and liked life, while in contrast to his former self, who he didn't even like being. I don't think it was as clean as people are saying. It tied up loose ends, but the ending was tragic, and what happened to everyone in his life along the way was also tragic. From the beginning, Walt was dead, either way, either from cancer or from this. This took his family from him, and his image to his family. It killed numerous people, etc... How anyone claims this was a win, or clean, I don't think is really thinking about it. This story was classically a retelling that the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Ya, I'm with you on this. I've read a few places that Walt "won" and I don't see that at all.
  24. QUOTE (knightni @ Oct 1, 2013 -> 08:07 AM) The Wild Card game needs to be a best of three series. Why? It makes perfect sense to do it the way they're doing it.
  25. QUOTE (Jake @ Sep 30, 2013 -> 09:59 PM) Semien doesn't have unreal tools and had a relatively quick rise from okay prospect that was a possible utility guy to a guy that was hitting like a legit top of the order hitter. Makes sense that there would be some pause. It's not like he came out of no where though, he's hit at every level.
