QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 3, 2012 -> 09:19 PM) So basically throw the game? I see what you're saying. But this particular game warrants them being out there that many minutes. Going forward, nothing to do with this game.
-
And I know its early but playing rose and deng 40+ mins in the regular season needs to stop.

Omer is our 3rd best player

This argument is seriously dumb, this isn't college football, they'll settle it on the field. -
QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 3, 2012 -> 04:09 PM) Hooray for resolutioners. I can't wait for this f***ing month to be over so the gym goes back to normal when 98% of them stop coming. I work in sales in the fitness industry so it's the best time of the year but I also work out at my gym everyday and it's the most frustrating thing ever.

QUOTE (whitesoxfan99 @ Jan 2, 2012 -> 04:52 PM) Mark Richt is a terrible terrible football coach. QUOTE (lord chas @ Jan 2, 2012 -> 04:52 PM) What the hell is Mark Richt thinking? So stupid. -
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Jan 2, 2012 -> 04:16 PM) You need to put that Bulls crack pipe down. Under no circumstance, outside of injury, can this Bulls team beat a Miami team playing at an optimal or near optimal level. The Bulls advantage at C is nullified because Miami can just go with either Bosh/Haslem, Haslem/Bosh at the 4/5 and be just fine. As far as depth goes, I don't know if this Norris Cole character is for real or not, but if he is, that advantage goes out the window as well. Once Battier gets acclimated, you have a bench of Cole, Battier, Haslem, Jones, Miller (though he has to prove he's healthy). Are the Knicks still better than the Bulls?

QUOTE (The Critic @ Jan 2, 2012 -> 11:45 AM) Just to stoke the fires a little bit, Jericho was spotted at the Nashville airport yesterday. RAW is taking place in Memphis today. I expect it to be Jericho, but I wouldn't be surprised to see WWE f*** this up. They don't have a great track record with this kind of thing. If it's anyone but Jericho I'll be quite angry.

BTW, Aaron Rodgers, clearly a system quarterback, clearly. -
QUOTE (Kalapse @ Jan 2, 2012 -> 12:12 AM) Goldstein's made that comparison a few times in the past, aside from the facial resemblance they have very similar builds. KW also compared the two yesterday. Identical motions too, crazyness.

QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Jan 1, 2012 -> 05:13 PM) The entire ISU team must have gotten super drunk last night. Ya, you guys can't lose that game... -
QUOTE (sircaffey @ Jan 1, 2012 -> 08:48 PM) Brewer is a different player this year. Very impressive. This. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Jan 1, 2012 -> 09:56 PM) The Bulls are truly dominant. I say rest Rip as long as he needs so the groin injury doesn't pop up again. This.

QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 13, 2011 -> 11:16 AM) AL East: Red Sox AL Central: White Sox AL West: A's Wild Card: Yankees NL East: Phillies NL Central: Brewers NL West: Rockies Wild Card: Braves Red Sox-A's White Sox-Yankees Phillies-Brewers Rockies-Braves Red Sox-White Sox Phillies-Braves Red Sox-Phillies Phillies Gross. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Feb 13, 2011 -> 12:04 PM) See, I kind of feel the opposite. I wouldn't be completely shocked if they get overtaken by the Braves in that division, however, if they get into the playoffs, good luck beating those top 4 in a short series. Spot on.

QUOTE (KyYlE23 @ Dec 30, 2011 -> 04:20 PM) the crazy thing is that SIU has talent. This isnt the JUCO crap they rolled out last year, Setty, Daniels, Swan, Taylor, Drinkard, and Whitt could all end up being pretty good players. But not under Lowery, he cannot coach out of a paper bag and thinks that every team he coaches can be coached the same as the 2007 squad. One person on salukitalk put it best, Lowery thinks he can tear kids down and build them back up to the mold of what he wants. He can tear them down no problem(it is what he is currently doing to Taylor, and what he did to the entire squad last season), but he has no idea how to build them back up. So he gets more frustrated with them, and vice versa, and then the kids take off or get arrested and get booted from the team. It really sucks watching what is happening. And it sucks even more that SIU finally made the committment to the facilities and such, only to have Lowery ruin every iota of momentum that the program had. Yes. I don't even want to talk about it anymore soooooo awesome slate of college hoops today, very excited. -
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 31, 2011 -> 12:36 AM) Didn't catch the last 3 1/2 quarters or so. Going by the boxscore, it looks like the Bulls were pretty impressive. 3-1 so far in games all on the road in less than a week is certainly nothing to be upset about. Oh, and Rose needs to follow LeBron's lead and just abandon the three. LeBron looks more unstoppable than he ever has now that he's not letting defenses off the hook with 3's and long jumpers (he's taken one 3 in 4 games so far). Rose could be similarly unstoppable if he does the same consistently. I'm certainly ok with him not taking a lot of 3s but in no way should he abandon the shot. QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Dec 31, 2011 -> 12:43 AM) That's a fair point. But the Heat aren't going to start out 8-7 this time around. They're 4-0 and look worlds better than they did early last year. I'd love to see Derrick not have to do as much. But that's simply not realistic. I guess what I'm saying is the Bulls need that #1 seed again if they have any chance of beating Miami in a 7 gamer. Do they though? Don't get me wrong they're the best team in the NBA but they've played against some teams playing some bad basketball, I actually haven't been that impressed with Miami so far.
