9/19 ESPN Sunday Night Baseball- Tigers @ Sox
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 19, 2010 -> 09:56 PM) Tweaked something where? I'm not really sure dude. I'm half assed watching it and have a lot of other s*** on my mind so I'm barely paying attention but I'm still b****ing for some reason.

9/19 ESPN Sunday Night Baseball- Tigers @ Sox
QUOTE (fathom @ Sep 19, 2010 -> 10:52 PM) What happened? Looked like Santos tweaked something, Ozzie and Herm checked on him and let him stay in the game. He looks fine now but I personally wouldn't have risked it.

I'm impressed that some of you guys can still get excited for this. Certainly a nice comeback but I can't get into this whatsoever.

What are your hobbies?
QUOTE (Rooftop Shots @ Sep 19, 2010 -> 05:18 PM) Used to have an airbrush business, but got tired of the business end of it. Got to the point where I hated it painting anymore. After a 7 year break, I recently started doing it again for ministry work within our local church. (murals. paintings, etc)It became enjoyable again. No longer doing what I felt "Forced" to do because of customers demands, but now doing it for reasons that I "want" to. That's badass dude

PK Hit in Face and Subsequent Events
QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Sep 17, 2010 -> 04:16 PM) How so? You mean Mark wouldn't have retaliated at all after Paulie got hit in the face and then the ump would have issued a warning to both teams after Pierre got drilled later? I mean that I'm sure Mark wouldn't have come out and said that he did it on purpose.

Just a What if Question...
Beckham still has a ton of trade value and to answer the original question, No he needs to stay.

2010-11 Watercooler thread
QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Sep 17, 2010 -> 07:45 AM) I kind of agree. It was too ridiculous to have Chad Ochocinco have that much of a role and I don't like the inclusion of Rafa. They already have Taco. Seemed like they calmed down the Taco character for that episode. I agree about Rafa, he's pretty lame but overall I liked the episode a lot.

i am drunk
QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Sep 18, 2010 -> 01:06 PM) Don't drink a pint of Hennessey and then have a 6 Blue Moons and then go to the club and drink 3 Long Island's because great things will happen if you do. Good drink selections. I have not been drunk in 2 weeks. Life sucks.

Catch All Anything Thread
QUOTE (lostfan @ Sep 18, 2010 -> 12:52 PM) Have you ever seen a fox? And then realized "s*** that's a fox, I've never seen one in real life"? No, so I guess my answer to the 2nd question would also have to be no.

Daniel Hudson watch thread
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 18, 2010 -> 06:47 AM) Yes, because 3 starts is a legitimate body of work to judge a guy by. And for the 4375274734274844 time, Jackson was pitching under the same conditions and flat sucked. And it looks as if he's reverting back to his hit or miss self with us. Just a putrid trade by a GM that's been absolutely brutal the last 2+ years. While the rest of your post is valid, it's way too early to jump to this conclusion. I agree with everything else though, the trade was a bad one from the beginning.

Films Thread
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 18, 2010 -> 07:36 AM) I thought it was great. My favorite scene was this: Affleck: I need your help...I can't tell you what it's about, you can never ask me about it later, and we're going to hurt some people. Renner: Whose car we taking? Agreed and agreed.

PK Hit in Face and Subsequent Events
QUOTE (South Side Fireworks Man @ Sep 17, 2010 -> 03:16 PM) Mark said he was "told" to do it. It was stupid for him to say it. He should have just said nothing, or said, "It slipped", or said, "I didn't mean to hit Cuddeyer just as Pavano didn't mean to hit Konerko." But you never admit you did it on purpose. The Sox under Ozzie still haven't learned how to handle this type of thing. I'm pretty sure if we were still in the race it would have been handled differently. At this point, who cares?

PK Hit in Face and Subsequent Events
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Sep 17, 2010 -> 02:20 PM) My inclination is to say that it was Mark's call, as Ozzie has shied away from hitting people in the last few years. I want to use a stronger term than "shied away," but I'll just say it was Mark's call and that's it. Indeed.

Keeping Kenny or Keeping Ozzie
I've been a huge Kenny backer through out the years but at this point I really don't care if he gets removed. Ozzie has to go though imo. That being said, we all know that they'll both be back.

SALE AND MOREL
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Sep 10, 2010 -> 11:50 PM) And our GM is Kenny Williams. They'll both be with other organizations this time next year. Sale isn't going anywhere. Morel just might.

NBA Offseason Thread
QUOTE (J.Reedfan8 @ Sep 9, 2010 -> 02:50 PM) Obviously, he would not be the hold up. Noah is a fine player, but it's easier to replace him than it is to acquire a Melo type talent. Taj Gibson would not hold me up either. Derrick Rose becomes the second option. That is incredible to think about. Rose-Brewer-Melo-Boozer-Przybilla type big man (maybe add him to a Rudy Fernandez trade), you have a fighting chance against Miami. While adding Melo and giving up Noah certainly makes you a better team, I still really don't think you have that much of a shot against the Heat. Now if we can add Anthony and keep Noah then you might just have a somewhat legit shot at winning a title.
