Will Konerko be in a White Sox uniform come 2011?
QUOTE (NorthSideSox72 @ Nov 2, 2010 -> 12:43 PM) According to the Trib, the Sox have exclusive negotiating rights with PK through Saturday. After that, the flood gates open. And he go bye bye.

2010 World Series: Rangers vs. Giants
QUOTE (3E8 @ Nov 2, 2010 -> 11:55 AM) He pretty much established that already by winning the Cy Young his first two full seasons He was being sarcastic because there was a poster on this board who claimed he wasn't elite. Anyways, did Bengie Molina get to celebrate with the Giants last night?

2010-2011 NBA Thread
An interesting/good problem the Bulls are going to have later in the season is how Thibs is going to cut down the rotation a little bit. It's nice having all these options but when Boozer comes back we're literally going to have 11 guys fighting for legit playing time and while that's certainly not a bad problem to have, an 11 man rotation is way too much. Besides that though, I really do love the way this team looks. High expectations from me for these guys.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 09:12 PM) My family had to put my dog to sleep tonight while I'm away at school. I'm a wreck. Sorry to hear that dude. Happened to me twice this year when I was at school, it just sucks.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 08:34 PM) It is game 3 of an 82 game season. STFU with the MVP chant. They did it last game too. Gotta feeling you're going to be hearing that all season long at the UC. Agreed with what you said though.

November LIST ideas?
Favorite Soxtalk posters. As much as I love my alcohol, a top 25 beer list would be quite the difficult task. Video game idea could definitely work though.

What are your plans for Tank?
QUOTE (greg775 @ Nov 1, 2010 -> 05:29 PM) That's pretty awesome on paper we have our defensive 3B now for the next 10 years. Hope he can hit a bit. Gotta love the new 10 year contracts these guys are brought up with now a days.

Runners Thread
Man, you guys are crazy. I've been running pretty much 6 days a week since about July and I still get ridiculously winded after 2.5 miles. I have no clue how people can run that damn much. Well done though, Zach, Steve.

Just because I know Brian loves when I keep people up to date on my fantasy team, I'll finally have my full lineup back next week: Stafford, Calvin Johnson, Desean Jackson, Boldin, Mendenhall, McFadden. Boom!

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 31, 2010 -> 10:32 PM) Don't you guys who want to run Oz out of town at least agree he's very very very likeable?? I don't think likeable is exactly the right word to use. I'll give you funny but that's not exactly the best criteria to use when making a managerial decision.

QUOTE (Brian @ Oct 30, 2010 -> 05:02 PM) Wouldn't doubt it. I don't have a reason to be positive about the Salukis this year outside of the renovated arena. Arena is pretty nice supposedly. The only update I really got last night was the D looked pretty good at the offense was out of sync. But hey, at least we didn't lose!

The funeral for the kid from ND is being held in my home town tomorrow. I know people that know him and his family, very sad stuff. Family probably isn't going to file a lawsuit btw.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Oct 31, 2010 -> 10:01 PM) So I go with intangibles. Ozzie is a funny motherf***er. Wow.- 2010-2011 NBA Thread
QUOTE (Quinarvy @ Oct 31, 2010 -> 09:54 AM) He lost 30 pounds. I noticed it right away when I saw him in the preseason, he's very noticeably slimmer. And seriously I'm just in love with Noah and Rose in a non gay way. LOVE.- Juan Uribe
Uribe is a blast to watch when he's not on your team. Watching him screw himself into the ground on occasion while swinging the bat is hilarious to watch when he's on the Giants but not so funny when he's on the Sox. Granted, he's having a great postseason and I'm certainly rooting for the guy but I'm glad he's gone. No doubt about it.- Halloween Costumes?
Since I couldn't think of anything good whatsoever this year, I just decided to make fun of LeBron James with my costume. At least I'll get joy out of doing that.- This is ridiculous...

QUOTE (lostfan @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 07:49 PM) *ATTENTION* it was reported the police found a 6 year old boy wandering the streets. The officer asked the boy to get in the car so he can be taken home. The young boy responded NO, because his mother beats him. The officer asked about his father, the boy said the father beats him too. the police asked where would the boy like to live. the boy smiled from ear to ear and said with the Cowboys, because they don't beat NOBODY! But they beat the Texans. Stupid kids.- Halloween Costumes?
QUOTE (Milkman delivers @ Oct 28, 2010 -> 11:24 AM) My costume should work out very well, but I'm being someone that I know, so it's useless to explain it to anyone on Soxtalk. I did that a few years ago, our whole group of friends dressed up as a different member of the group, it was hysterical. So far all I got this year is a sweet hat and funny pants. I'm struggling big time.- 2010 ALCS: Rangers vs. Yankees
QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 08:31 PM) With regards to Cotts, he did have a very mediocre slider to go along with that fastball, and used it just to get the other hitters thinking about it. He hid the ball very well and thus, his 88-91 MPH MPH fastball looked to be about 93-96. I recall people saying that he altered his delivery the following year - I think coming more over the top opposed to three-quarters - and it was much easier to pick the ball up and he's been killed ever since. He hid the ball well and did the little toe tap which I'm sure messed with the hitters timing a little bit. As for the Rangers, I'd bet on CJ Wilson and Colby Lewis coming back to earth pretty hard next season, they better find some pitching elsewhere imo.- Catch All Anything Thread
QUOTE (dasox24 @ Oct 27, 2010 -> 05:23 PM) I think my friend's did too today. And we're supposed to be driving to South Bend tomorrow so I hope it gets fully fixed. That sucks. Similar thing happened to me my freshman year of college. We were supposed to drive to St. Louis for the MVC tournament and my buddies car broke down literally like at 11 o'clock the night before. I didn't have my car in Carbondale at the time so it was quite the panic for a while until we found out about the greyhound. - This is ridiculous...
